    Abstract: The invention relates to an actuator (10) for a process plant, comprising an actuating valve (14) and an actuating drive (12) which has an actuating drive housing (20) and a drive rod (18) mounted in the actuating drive housing (20), wherein the actuating drive housing (20) is connected to a valve housing (22) of the actuating valve (14) via a connecting housing. The invention is characterized in that a second rod coupling (46) and an adjusting rod (42) are provided, the adjusting rod (42) being provided in the region between the drive rod (18) and the valve rod (38), one rod coupling (44, 46) coupling the adjusting rod (42) to the drive rod (18), and one rod coupling (44, 46) coupling the adjusting rod (42) to the valve rod (18).

    Abstract: The invention relates to a control valve (10) for a process plant, comprising an actuator (16) which is connected to, and spaced from, a valve body (12) of a valve unit (11) via a yoke (14), the valve body (12) having a housing flange (32) which is detachably connected to the yoke (14), with the valve body (12) having an inlet (20) and an outlet (22) adapted to allow the flow of a process fluid therethrough, which inlet (20) and outlet (22) are each arranged in a fluid connection region (18, 19), and with an actuating member adapted to be displaced by the actuator (16) for controlling the flow rate of the process fluid being arranged in the passage (24) from the inlet (20) to the outlet (22). The invention is characterized in that the housing flange (32) connected to the yoke (14) has at least one recess (44) as well as a yoke fastening region (33), with the yoke fastening region (33) being formed as a bolt hole circle (34) with radially arranged connecting holes (36).

A twin process fluid flow is virtually influenced according to a twin influence factor.     Abstract: A method is detect inadequate valve seat integrity in a control element of a control valve is proposed, wherein during a calibration time interval the position of the control element of the control valve in the closed position are repeatedly measured and recorded. Measuring of the position in the closed position continues during operation, and a moving average value is determined over a specified number of values. A threshold is determined from the calibration data set and the specified number. If the moving average deviates from the average of the calibration data by more than this threshold, a message is output. In particular, no additional sensors or scanning devices are required and a sensible compromise between early fault detection and avoidance of false diagnoses is achieved.

    Abstract: A control valve configured to set a process fluid stream of a processing plant can include a valve housing, a valve component, an annular-groove-shaped seal reception, and a seal. The valve housing can include an inlet, an outlet and an aperture extending between the inlet and the outlet along a longitudinal axis. The valve component can be mounted on the valve housing and can be a valve seat and/or a valve cage. The annular-groove-shaped seal reception can be confined by the valve component and the valve housing. The seal can be fit into the seal reception. The valve component and the valve housing can each form a respective ledge protruding in a radial direction to define the annular-groove-shaped seal reception. The ledges can each be configured to confine the seal reception in a respective axial direction.
