A spatial multiplexing detection device using a MIMO technology comprises a MIMO detector for detecting receive symbols which correspond to symbols transmitted through transmit antennas from receive signals when the transmit data transmitted by the terminal group are received through receive antennas; a terminal identifier for identifying the receive symbols detected by the MIMO detector into symbols which correspond to respective terminals in the terminal group; a symbol demapper for demapping the receive symbols identified by the terminal identifier to binary data which correspond to a modulation method used by the terminal group; and a reverse data processor for performing deinterleaving, decoding of error correction codes, and descrambling on the binary data demapped by the symbol demapper, and detecting receive data of the respective terminals.
Abstract:
Disclosed are an adaptive pilot symbol assignment method that flexibly controls the number of transmit antennas according to each user's moving speed, channel status, or user request, and assigns proper pilot symbols in the downlink of an OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing Access) based cellular system; and a sub-carrier allocation method for high-speed mobile that allocates some sub-carriers to assign proper pilot symbols for ultrahigh-speed mobile users, and the rest of the sub-carriers to the other users to assign proper pilot symbols to the users, on the assumption that the ultrahigh-speed mobile users have a traffic volume almost insignificant to the whole traffic volume.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an algorithm for dynamically changing an RTS threshold, which is a threshold for RTS-CTS frame exchange, depending on the traffic load in the BSS so as to maximize the MAC throughput of an IEEE 802.11 wireless LAN system. The present invention defines a new performance index based on the total time taken to transmit a frame and the time taken to successfully transmit a data frame. The RTS threshold is dynamically increased/decreased in a predefined range depending on the change in the new performance index.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an adaptive resource allocation processor in the multi-channel communication system. A channel gain for the subchannel is determined and a modulation method for each subchannel is the present invention. A number of bits to be transmitted is determine according to a subchannel quality, and a minimum power for a total required transmission rate is determined. A channel gain for the subchannel is determined according to the number of allocated bits and power, an, a modulation method for each subchannel is determined with reference o the channel gain. When the modulation method for each subchannel is determined, an adaptive convex search is repeatedly performed according to the average power and transmission rate, and a final modulation method is determined as one subchannel unit with reference the convex search result.

Abstract:
Provided is related to a flash memory device, comprising an input receiver to input data, a data selector for generating a plurality of control signals in accordance with recognizing whether the input data in the data receiver is either the data to be programmed or the data to be erased, a data load path being enabled for data to be programmed while disabled for data to be erased, in response to the control signal, and a page buffer for storing the input data from the data load path. The present invention improves a data loading speed and enhances power consumption property by reducing current dissipation.
Abstract:
An encryption/decryption device and a method thereof use an RC4 algorithm to reduce a waiting time for encryption/decryption thereby avoiding data process delay. The encryption/decryption device includes a management unit, an encryption/decryption unit, and a first interface. The management unit includes a WEP seed key generator for generating a WEP seed key based on a transmitter address of first data and a cipher suite value representing a cipher protocol type for the transmitter address, an RC4 key scheduler for generating S-Box data using the WEP seed key, and an S-Box data memory storing the S-Box data generated from the RC4 key scheduler for the transmitter addresses. The encryption/decryption unit has a core for performing the RC4 algorithm-corresponding to the cipher suite, encrypting/decrypting the first data using the S-Box data transmitted from the management unit, and transmitting a signal for generating the S-Box data of second data to the management unit. The first interface transmits a control signal and a data signal between the management unit and the encryption/decryption unit.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless local area network (WLAN). In the present invention, an access point transmits and receives a probe frame including identity numbers of each access point with a near access point, determines a master access point, and establishes a connection with a near access point through a first radio channel. The master access point transmits a beacon frame, including time information, to a station through a second radio channel, and establishes a connection with the station. The master access point relays a wired internet service received from internet network to the station. Thereafter the master access point switches the connection to the first radio channel and transmits a data frame to the near access point connected with a target station.
