Methods of forming isolation regions for semiconductor devices and structures thereof are disclosed. A workpiece having a top surface is provided, a chemical mechanical polish (CMP) stop layer is formed over the workpiece, and a sacrificial material is formed over the CMP stop layer. The sacrificial material, the CMP stop layer, and the workpiece are patterned with a trench for an isolation region. The isolation region is filled with an insulating material, and a CMP process is used to remove the insulating material from over the top surface of the CMP stop layer. The sacrificial material is removed during the CMP process.

A fold-and-dive apparatus for a vehicle seat is provided, which includes a protrusion projecting from a seat back that is folded toward a seat cushion, a moving block moving on a connection link by the protrusion when the seat back is folded, a lock plate connected to the moving block by a cable to move upward and downward on the connection link so as to restrain and release the seat cushion, and an elastic member having both end portions installed in the seat cushion and a vehicle body, respectively, to make the seat cushion slide forward. Since the seat cushion slides forward when the seat back is folded, the overlap of bolster portions between the seat back and the seat cushion is minimized, and thus the evenness of the seat back that is folded toward the seat cushion and the luggage trim is maximally improved.

A method for providing a dictionary service to a terminal, includes: providing a dictionary service window in or near a web browser for displaying a webpage through a screen of the terminal if a certain item for executing dictionary services in the terminal is clicked; (b) receiving a query inputted in the provided dictionary service window wherein the query includes a query for requesting meaning, a query for requesting pronunciation, or both; and (c) searching and providing a translation data corresponding to the query for requesting meaning or a pronunciation data corresponding to the query for requesting pronunciation. The method provides a translation data and/or pronunciation data of a word or expression which the user wants to find out while web surfing through the dictionary service window.

The present invention relates to a method of regulating mammalian target-of-rapamycin (mTOR) by regulating a phospholipase D (PLD) activity that generates a complex with mTOR. Further, the present invention also relates to a method of screening inhibitors of mTOR, and a method and a composition for treating mTOR-related metabolic diseases by inhibiting mTOR.

A trench isolation method of a semiconductor device includes forming polishing prevention film patterns on a semiconductor substrate, etching the semiconductor device by using the polishing prevention film patterns as masks and forming trenches, and forming conformal insulation films on the semiconductor substrate and the polishing prevention film patterns by burying the trenches. The conformal insulation films are first polished using a first polishing pad by using a slurry including an abrasive having a polishing selection ratio with respect to the polishing prevention film patterns. The first polished conformal insulation films are second polished using a second polishing pad including an abrasive and by using the polishing prevention film patterns as polishing prevention films.

The present invention relates to a well type neutron counter containing a He-3 detector which includes at least one annular gas layer in a polyethylene moderator, which includes a body formed of a neutron moderator and having a sample cavity for inserting a sample of nuclear material therein; and an annular He-3 detector tube including at least one annular gas layer into which at least He-4 or He-3 gas or their mixture is injected and a plurality of anode rods stood in the annular gas layer with an equal spaces, wherein the He-3 detector tube is formed in an inside of the body so as to surround the sample cavity. The neutron counter has a largely reduced size, simplified structure and resultant decreased failure rate as compared to a conventional counter with a large volume.
