The hue determining circuit receives a plurality of color signals of the specified color and a plurality of hue adjusting values each corresponding to one color. The hue determining circuit generates a target hue value according to the color signals and the hue adjusting values. The hue adjusting circuit is coupled to the hue determining circuit. The hue adjusting circuit receives the color signals and the target hue value, and adjusts the hue of the color signals according to the target hue value.

摘要： The present invention provides a noise reduction method for use in reducing noise of a digital image, the method comprising steps of: defining a target window on a coordinate plane defined by the first chrominance and the second chrominance as the horizontal axis and the vertical axis; determining a noise threshold value according to whether an input pixel having a first chrominance value and a second chrominance value is located inside the window; determining whether the input pixel is a noise point according to the noise threshold value and luminance values of neighboring pixels of the input pixel; and adjusting the luminance value of the input pixel if the input pixel is determined a noise point. Using the noise reduction method of the present invention, not only noise of a digital image can be identified, but also the degradation caused by the noise can be reduced and thus the overall picture quality can be improved.

摘要： An image processing apparatus comprises an image decoding unit and a static noise reducing unit. The image decoding unit decodes a data stream and generates a plurality of image comprising a current image. The static noise reducing unit, coupled to the image decoding unit, generates a first adjustment value of a target pixel of the current image according to an original luminance value of the target pixel and at least one original luminance value of a neighboring pixel associated with the target pixel. The static noise reducing unit also determines a static adjustment luminance value of the target pixel according to the original luminance value, the first adjustment value, and a first weight. The first weight is associated with the chrominance value of the target pixel.

摘要： A filter for a video stream is provided. The filter generates a filtered picture according to a current picture and its previous picture. A motion difference calculator accumulates differences between current picture values and previous picture values within a neighborhood of each pixel to provide a corresponding motion difference. A histogram counter performs histogram counting according to motion differences of the pixels. A filter value calculator provides a filter value for each pixel according to operations of the motion difference calculator and the histogram counter. A blender blends the current picture value and the previous picture value of each pixel according to weightings correlated to the filter value, and provides a filtered picture value for each pixel of the filtered picture.
