    Abstract: User equipment (UE) includes processing circuitry coupled to memory. To configure the UE for multi-transmission reception point (TRP) reception, the processing circuitry is to decode radio resource control (RRC) signaling. The RRC signaling includes configuration information configuring a plurality of transmission configuration indication (TCI) states. A media access control (MAC) control element (CE) is decoded, where the MAC CE indicates multiple active TCI states of the configured plurality of TCI states. Multiple received beams are determined using the multiple active TCI states. Downlink information is decoded, where the downlink information originates from multiple TRPs and is received via the determined multiple receive beams associated with the multiple active TCI states.

    Abstract: An approach is described that includes receiving a CSI report, where the CSI report includes a channel quality indicator (CQI), a rank indicator (RI), and a precoding matrix indicator (PMI). The approach further includes constructing a precoding matrix based on a linear combination of a plurality of mutually orthogonal digital Fourier transformation (DFT) spatial beams, and determining a number of bits for the PMI of the precoding matrix. The approach also includes determining a space frequency matrix based, at least in part, on the number of bits for the PMI and the precoding matrix, and compressing the space frequency matrix. Finally, the approach includes determining a compressed PMI based, at least in part, on the space frequency matrix.

    Abstract: An apparatus of user equipment (UE) includes processing circuitry coup led to a memory, where to configure the UE for radio link monitoring (RLM) in a New Radio-Unlicensed (NR-U) network, the processing circuitry is to decode radio resource control (RRC) signaling from a base station. The RRC signaling includes configuration information to configure transmission occasions for a plurality of RLM reference signals (RLM-RSs). A primary synchronization signal (PSS) or a secondary synchronization signal (SSS) detection is performed to determine a number of RLM-RSs of the plurality of RLM-RSs that are successfully transmitted during the transmission occasions. Signal measurements are performed on the RLM-RSs that are successfully transmitted within an evaluation duration to determine a block error rate (BLER). The signal measurements are performed when the number is higher than a threshold number. An in-sync (IS) indicator or an out-of-sync (OOS) indicator are generated based on the signal measurements.

    Abstract: Systems, devices, and techniques for wideband operations in unlicensed spectrum are described. A described technique receiving, by a user equipment (UE), a schedule for transmitting on a Physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) over at least a portion of a plurality of listen-before-talk (LBT) subbands of a bandwidth part (BWP) in an unlicensed spectrum. The scheduled PUSCH bandwidth indicated by the schedule can be greater than a unit bandwidth of a LBT subband. The technique includes performing, by the UE, a LBT procedure on each scheduled LBT subband of the plurality of LBT subbands, each of the scheduled LBT subbands being associated with the scheduled PUSCH bandwidth. The technique includes performing, by the UE, a PUSCH transmission in accordance with the schedule that uses one or more of the scheduled LBT subbands that have passed the LBT procedure.
