    摘要: In a motion vector detection apparatus which processes a plurality of candidate blocks of pixels defined in a search range within a reference frame, to detect a candidate block having maximum correlation with an object block of M.times.N pixels in an object frame, a first input circuit receives successive pixels of the object block in respective clock periods and transfers each pixel to a specific one of a set of M.times.N processor circuits, while a second input circuit receives successive pixels of the search range and transfers each to a specific one of the processor circuits, such that the pixel values of a candidate block are respectively sequentially processed by each of the processor circuits in successive clock periods, with difference values between corresponding object and candidate block pixel values, generated by respective processor circuits, being cumulatively added to obtain an inter-block error value for that candidate block.

    摘要: A metal laminate gasket of the invention is basically formed of first and second metal plates laminating together, and a plurality of fixing devices for connecting the first and second metal plates. The fixing devices are formed inside the gasket at the portions where sealing ability of the gasket is not affected. Each fixing device is formed of a hole formed in the first plate and a bending strip formed in the second plate. The bending strip is located under the hole of the first plate and is formed by partly cutting the second plate. When the first and second plates are assembled, the bending strip extends through the hole of the first plate and is located above the first plate.

    摘要: A challenge to be met is to make it possible to accurately ascertain a behavior history of a person in various camera environments. Person characteristic data extracted from a plurality of cameras are stored in a person characteristic database. A retrieval request receiving section receives an identifier for identifying a person to be retrieved as a retrieval key. A characteristic retrieval section performs retrieval of persons matching the retrieval key from the person characteristic database in descending order of similarity. A retrieval result grouping section classifies the results of retrieval into units assumed to belong to the same environment. A retrieval result display section displays results of grouping. Since retrieval results are displayed in the form of a list on each unit assumed to belong to the same environment, the person to be retrieved can simply be ascertained in various camera environments despite a limited number of displays provided.

    摘要: Disclosed are an image compression device for accurately compressing and reproducing a multi-spectral image, an image of a color space not dependent upon a device and lighting or a multi-primary-color image, and an image uncompression apparatus utilizing the same. An image compression device comprises a cluster storing section for storing a parameter for classifying image signals of an input image into a plurality of clusters, a cluster fixing section for fixing which cluster each of the inputted image signal belongs to that is stored in the cluster storing section; and a cluster-base image compressing section for performing a different image compression processes of image signal on a cluster-by-cluster basis. The image compression device thus configured can accurately compress and reproduce, at high compression ratio, a multi-spectral image, an image of a color space not dependent upon a device and lighting or a multi-primary-color image. Accordingly, when transmitting and receiving multi-dimensional images between remote locations, the data amount of transmission can be reduced for efficient transmission and reception.

    摘要: A manifold gasket of the invention is used for sealing around manifold holes of a manifold, wherein at least three manifold holes are arranged side by side. The gasket is formed of a first metal plate extending around the manifold holes to constitute a manifold gasket, and two spacers attached to two longitudinal end portions of the plate. The first metal plate includes first holes corresponding to the respective manifold holes, and beads situated around the respective first holes for sealing therearound. Each spacer includes a second hole greater than an outer shape of the bead to allow the bead to be situated inside the second hole. The thickness of the spacer is less than the height of the bead. Thus, the manifold gasket can be securely fixed to an engine part through the spacers without creep relaxation of the beads, while the bead not surrounded by the spacer absorbs deformation of the manifold by heat.

    摘要: In a rotor of a micro motor, a magnet is indirectly attached to a rotor shaft by means of a pair of bushes without using any adhesive material. The pair of bushes comprises upper and lower bushes which are respectively mounted by means of an interference fit around the rotor shaft. Each bush comprises a cylindrical portion in the center of which a hole is formed, and a flange portion having around its periphery an annular notched portion. The notched portion of the upper bush is formed on a lower surface of the flange portion adjacent to the outer periphery of the cylindrical portion while the annular notched portion of the lower bush is formed on an upper surface of the flange portion adjacent to the outer periphery of the cylindrical portion, and due to the notched portions, each flange portion is provided with a certain degree of resiliency. The magnet is loosely fitted over the outer periphery of the cylindrical portions of the respective bushes and disposed between the flange portions thereof so that it is clamped between the flange portions of the bushed by means of the resiliency of the flange portions and thereby fixed between both bushes.
