Abstract: A display device and a display method using the same are disclosed. The display device includes: a display panel including a first substrate, a second substrate and a liquid crystal prism arranged between the first substrate and the second substrate; and a backlight source configured to emit a light which is incident onto the second substrate at an oblique angle; wherein the liquid crystal prism is configured to adjust a deflection angle of the light emitted from the backlight source traveling between the first substrate and the second substrate such that the light emitted from the backlight source is totally-reflected at a light exit face of the display device or exits from the light exit face of the display device.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses an anti-peep display device and an anti-peep display device. The anti-peep display device includes a display layer and a liquid crystal grating layer; the liquid crystal grating layer is disposed at a surface of the display layer, and the liquid crystal grating layer includes two layers of glass substrate and a liquid crystal layer; these two layers of glass substrate are spaced apart and oppositely disposed; the liquid crystal layer is sandwiched between the two layers of the glass substrate; by adjusting the liquid crystal layer, a plurality of gratings of the liquid crystal grating layer are controlled to switch between black and white, thereby controlling the anti-peep display device to switch between an anti-peep display mode and a shared display mode.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a liquid crystal grating, a method for driving the liquid crystal grating, and a display device. In the embodiments of the present disclosure, by applying the second voltage and the third voltage that are mutually inverted with respect to the common electrode voltage, the situation in which a single phase voltage is applied to all grating electrodes corresponding to the power-on optical state can be avoided. Due to the capacitance of liquid crystal, the influence of the second voltage on the common electrode voltage and the influence of the third voltage on the common electrode voltage cancel each other out. Therefore, the fluctuation of the common electrode voltage caused by the capacitance of liquid crystal can be effectively reduced or eliminated, thereby avoiding the failure of the liquid crystal grating.

Abstract: A display panel and a display apparatus are provided. The display panel comprises a first substrate, a refractive index adjustment mechanism and a second substrate successively arranged along a light output direction, a first black matrix is formed on the first substrate and includes first shading portions and first openings, and a second black matrix is formed on the second substrate and includes second shading portions and second openings. The first shading portions are arranged opposite to the corresponding second openings, and the second shading portions are arranged opposite to the corresponding first openings. In the case where the display panel is in a power-off state, light cannot penetrate the display panel. In the case where the display panel is in a power-on state, the refractive index adjustment mechanism can adjust intensity of light exiting from the second openings.
