The compounds may be used as hole transporting materials, hole injection materials, or the like in an electroluminescent device. Compared to existing hole transporting materials, hole injection materials, the novel compounds can also offer excellent device performance. An electroluminescent device and a formulation comprising the compounds are also disclosed.
