The heat pipes have central segments (22) engaged in the base and end segments (24) sandwiched between the plates and the fins. The fan is positioned to the plates and in communication with the air passages.

    摘要: A heat dissipation assembly (100) includes a retention frame (90), a heat sink (80), a fan holder (10), a pair of clips (60) and a fan (20). The heat sink is mounted on the retention frame and forms a pair of shoulders (822) at opposite sides thereof. The fan holder includes a fan duct (40) surrounding a top portion of the heat sink and including a pair of supports mounted on the shoulders, and a holding frame (30) detachably mounted on the fan duct. The clips are mounted on the supports and engaged with the retention frame. One side of the holding frame is pivotally engaged with the fan duct, an opposite side of the holding frame forms a latching leg (33) that is engaged with an ear (412) formed at the fan duct. Three catching arms extend from the holding frame and retain the fan in the holding frame.

The post is extended perpendicularly from the base and received in the channel. The post defines a pair of through holes (21) along a length direction thereof. The plates are located at opposite peripheries of the stacked fins and parallel to the post. Each plate defines an engaging hole (41) therein. Each heat pipe is substantially inverted U-shaped and includes parallel first and second section (32, 34) respectively soldered into a corresponding through hole of the post and the engaging hole of a corresponding plate.

    摘要: An electronic device comprises a printed circuit board, a heat sink and a plurality of locking devices securing the heat sink to the printed circuit board. Each locking device comprises a shaft, a knob and an elastic member. The shaft has a plurality of outer teeth protruding outwardly from an outer surface of a top end thereof. The outer teeth are arranged along an axial direction of the shaft. The knob has an inner tooth meshing with the outer teeth of the shaft. The elastic member is compressed between a bottom of the knob and the heat sink. A length of the elastic changes when the inner tooth of the knob meshes with different outer teeth along the axial direction of the shaft to adjust a pressure of the locking device on the heat sink.

    摘要: A heat dissipation device for dissipating heat from a heat-generating device includes a heat-absorbing plate, a heat pipe assembly attached to the heat-absorbing plate and a fin set attached to the heat pipe assembly. The fin set includes a plurality of fins and has a contacting surface cooperatively formed by bottom edges of the fins and attached to the heat pipe assembly. The heat pipe assembly includes heat pipes with evaporating sections and condensing sections located away from the evaporating sections. The evaporating sections of the heat pipes are covered by the heat-absorbing plate and the condensing sections of the heat pipes are exposed outside of the heat-absorbing plate. The heat pipes absorb heat from the heat-generating device via the heat-absorbing plate, and directly transfer the heat to the fin set.

Two first heat pipes are arranged on and thermally engaged with the base for absorbing heat from the electronic device and spread the heat to the base. Each of the two first heat pipes is sinuous and defines two U-shaped portions on the base. Two second heat pipes are thermally engaged with the base for absorbing heat from the electronic device and spreading the heat to the base. Each of the two second heat pipes has a first section located at a corresponding one of the two U-shaped portions on the base. A fin set is located on the base for dissipating heat in the base to ambient air.
