Abstract: Methods, systems, media devices, and non-transitory, machine-readable media to facilitate asynchronous wireless media transfer are disclosed. A request for video service from a content provider system via a wireless network may be received. A media device may be configured to provide an asynchronous session for subsequent video content transfer. The configuring may utilize a network layer and a transport layer without utilizing a presentation layer and an application layer. Specifications of asynchronous session parameters may be created to define delivery operations with the asynchronous session. An encrypted token, corresponding to the specifications, may be created. Opening of the asynchronous session may be requested by transmitting the encrypted token to the content provider system from the transport layer. At the session layer, the asynchronous session may be started for video content delivery in accordance with the specifications of the asynchronous session parameters. Display of the video content may be caused.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and machine-readable media for containerizing and adapting content items for delivery in a packet stream from a content provider system via one or more networks to an endpoint media device are disclosed. A content composite may be created for delivery in a packet stream from a content provider system to an endpoint media device. A containerization object may be configured with a container flag that indicates a content item and containerization specifications to facilitate performance of operations by the endpoint media device with respect to the content item. The content composite may be transmitted in accordance with composite transmission specifications. The endpoint media device may perform the operations facilitated by the containerization object of the content composite.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and non-transitory, machine-readable media are disclosed for audio adaption of content items to device operations of an endpoint media device. First observation data corresponding to media device operations associated with a first media device and mapped to first content items may be processed. A first content composite including an adaptable content item may be received. The first content composite may be adapted with a first audio segment. Based on the first observation data, the first audio segment may be selected. The first content composite may be configured with the first audio segment so that the adapted first content composite plays the first audio segment when the adapted first content composite is presented. The adapted first content composite may be output for presentation, where the first endpoint media device or the second endpoint media device performs at least one operation relating to the adapted first content composite.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and machine-readable to adapt delivery of content composites to an endpoint media device are disclosed. A first content composite may be transmitted via a packet stream to an endpoint media device. A communication from the endpoint media device that is indicative of having output at least part of the first content composite for display may be processed. Operational data from that is indicative of operations executed by the endpoint media device or a communication device may be processed and mapped to one or more operational values correlated to a metric that corresponds to endpoint disconnection with the first content composite may be identified. A second content composite to be inserted into the packet stream to the endpoint media device may be selected. The second content composite may be transmitted via the packet stream from the content provider system to the endpoint media device.

Abstract: Novel techniques are described for enabling headphone-driven systems to handle packetized streams of next-generation television (NGTV) content. For example, a headphone system can include an antenna and a NGTV tuner to receive and decode a packetized television content stream wirelessly from a content provider via a digital television content network. The decoded stream can be processed by the headphone system to generate an audio stream and a video stream. Audio content of the audio stream can be output via an audio transducer of the headphone system. The video stream can be transmitted, via a device interface of the headphone system, to a media playback device for outputting of video content (e.g., and audio content, in some cases) of the video stream. For example, the video stream is transmitted, via a short-range wireless network to a smartphone, tablet computer, transport vehicle display, or other playback device.
