Abstract: A system is disclosed for multimedia multipoint real-time conferencing that includes a communication module to receive a request to share media content in a virtual room setting. The content may include an audio, a video, a text, or a HyperText Markup Language (HTML) code referencing a third-party resource. The system may further include a content encoder at the host website to create a data packet encapsulating the transport characteristics and the routing requirements and a multipoint router to share the content via the transport protocol in the real-time group conference associated with the users of the virtual room.

Abstract: A method for managing requests for input streams associated with at least one incoming network stream received from a network interface. The input streams include at least one of video data, audio data and ancillary data. The method includes receiving a request for an input stream associated with a network stream identifier and determining whether the network stream identifier associated with the input stream matches an existing network stream identifier, the existing network stream identifier associated with at least one existing input stream. The method further includes: if a match is found, associating the input stream and the at least one existing input stream with a common area of memory; and if a match is not found, associating the input stream with a first area of memory that differs from a second area of memory that is associated with the at least one existing input stream.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to streaming individual application windows and/or other desktop elements of a remote desktop. Data used to represent irrelevant desktop areas may be replaced with lower entropy data that may be highly compressed in a video stream and/or with data representative of other visual content. The video stream may also include desktop metadata (e.g., locations for desktop visuals, etc.) used to render the desktop elements on the local desktop. The desktop visuals of an application window may be rendered in a proxy window on the local desktop.

Abstract: Provided is a system that includes a circuit to generate an interactive item based on a request received from a first distribution network or a second distribution network. The interactive item is overlaid over a media item present in media content. The circuit then activates the generated interactive item overlaid over the media item of the media content. Further, the circuit receives an event trigger, from a client application engine operational on a user device associated with a user, for a selection of the activated interactive item. A personalized list is generated for the event trigger for the selection of the interactive item. Further, the generated personalized list is transmitted for a display for a defined time duration, to one of the first distribution network, the second distribution network or the client application engine operational on the user device.

The computer, the user device, the service provider device, or the content provider device might then select at least one of the one or more options to address the error in the first network.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods for managing content delivery in a packetized network. In one embodiment, the network provide content to a plurality of clients via a plurality of nodes and origin points, and resources are discreetly represented (e.g., with IP addresses, such as those afforded under the IPv6 protocol) to allows for direct advertisement of resources. Exemplary solutions described herein further advantageously leverage extant architectures and protocols (such as BGP), and make use of a common control plane, which can be utilized for example by different content delivery network (CDN) operators and different delivery components to advertise resources. Internally within a given CDN, increased granularity of resource addressing and advertisement may provide benefits including: (i) resource affinity; (ii) resource-level balancing; (iii) dynamic resource scoping; and (iv) “zero-touch” provisioning and resource relocation.

Abstract: A server version of an interactive application executed by a processing device of a first mobile device communicatively connected to a main video rendering device collects first data generated by a first client version of the interactive application executed by the processing device. The server version of the interactive application generates first displayable content relating to the first client version of the interactive application based on the first data, wherein the first displayable content is rendered on a display of the first mobile device. The server version of the interactive application generates second displayable content based in part on the first data and additional data relating to the server version of the interactive application, wherein the first displayable content is different from the second displayable content. The server version of the interactive application, transmits the second displayable content to the main video rendering device to be rendered on a main video display.

Abstract: The present technology pertains to managing a sample of a media item using a non-fungible token (NFT) and an associated smart contract. The present technology includes identifying a portion of the media item as a sample, and creating an NFT referencing assignment of a right associated with the sample of the media item. The NFT has an associated smart contract defining a condition upon satisfaction of which the right associated with the sample will be assigned. The present technology may also include identifying market data of the media item, where the market data includes at least one of a list price and historical sales volume for the media item, and identifying charts data, critical review scores, and social media interaction with the media items. The market data can be used to determine a spot price for the sample of the media item.
