    Abstract: A method may include receiving, by a radio unit (RU), a mobile communication from a user device, the RU associated with a cell identifier (CID). The method may include determining, by an access and mobility function (AMF), an attribute associated with the user device and the mobile communication. The method may include generating, by a core network function, a communication record of the mobile communication including the CID and the attribute. The method may include storing, by a computing device, the communication record in a database. The method may include receiving, by the computing device, a request for communication records including a requested attribute type. The method may then include determining, by the computing device, that the attribute of the communication record is of the requested attribute type. The method may include transmitting, by the computing device of the cellular network, the communication record based on the request.

    Abstract: A UE may receive input indicating an attempt to place an emergency call. The UE may communicate with a first cellular network to connect the emergency call. The UE may generate a first SIP header, the SIP header including first location data indicating a first location of the UE. The UE may transmit the SIP header including the first location data via a user plane function of the first cellular network. While the emergency call is ongoing, the UE may disconnect from the first cellular network and connect to a second cellular network. The UE may communicate with the second cellular network to continue the emergency call. The UE may then generate a second SIP header including second location data indicating a second location of the UE. The UE may transmit the second SIP header including the second location data via the user plane function of the first cellular network.

    Abstract: A system and method for managing interference between different enterprises operating over the same spectrum. The system includes central units of a host, a first enterprise and a second enterprise; a first interface for connecting the central unit of the host to the central unit of the first enterprise; and a second interface for connecting the central unit of the host to the second enterprise; wherein the central unit of the host is configured to: enable relaying of load information between the first and second enterprises to minimize interference between each enterprise when the first and second enterprises are operating in the same spectrum and an overlapping coverage region between cell sites; and arbitrate transmission requests from a respective enterprise based on information from service level agreements (SLAs) shared between the central unit at the host and the respective enterprise.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for communication link adaptation and communication networks involving ground-based user equipment and non-terrestrial stations. A communication is received indicating signal quality of a first signal transmitted during a first transmission period and a plurality of fading losses associated with the first signal are obtained. A first fading loss and a second fading loss associated with the first signal are estimated for a future time, the first fading loss based on application of a first filter, and the second fading loss based on differences determined between the first fading loss and the plurality of fading losses. A signal-to-interference-plus-noise-ratio is calculated and includes at least one of the first fading loss and the second fading loss. A non-terrestrial station transmits, for a second time period, a second signal having settings determined based on the signal-to-interference-plus-noise-ratio.

    Abstract: Embodiments are directed towards systems and methods for selecting, in a Fifth Generation (5G) cellular telecommunication network, a User Plane Function (UPF) of a plurality of UPFs on which to anchor a Protocol Data Unit (PDU) session of a new user equipment (UE) newly appearing on the cellular telecommunication network. The selection is based on: a location of the new UE; a plurality of current loads for each UPF of the plurality of UPFs; a predicted UE load of the new UE based on network data analytics; and predicted UPF loads of the plurality of UPFs as a function of time considering the predicted UE load based on network data analytics from the Network Data Analytics Function. In the UPF selection, the Session Management Function (SMF) gives higher priority to shorter term predicted loads than longer term predicted loads. Also, in the UPF selection, the PDU session of the UE is preferred to attach on the UPF in the current serving area in which the UE is located.

    Abstract: Various arrangements for performing intelligent cellular channel management are presented herein. A physical cellular communication channel may be established between a user equipment (UE) and a cellular network for sending a short message service (SMS) message in response to a cellular service request from the UE. One or more characteristics of the UE, the SMS message, or both may be analyzed. A duration of time for which the physical cellular communication channel is kept active may be based on the analyzed one or more characteristics. A channel maintenance instruction may be transmitted to keep the physical cellular communication channel active based on a cellular network messaging controller determining to adjust the duration of time for which the physical cellular communication channel is kept active.
