Abstract:
A system, method, and computer program product are provided according to one embodiment. The system includes logic for receiving a request to record a contiguous television program; a storage medium for storing a representation of a first portion of the television program on a local recording system, the first portion being temporally shorter than a length of the television program; logic for sending a message to a remote system in response to the message, wherein the remote system stores a representation of a second portion of the television program; logic for outputting an indication of the television program on a list of recorded programs; logic for receiving a request to play back the television program via selection of the indication from the list; logic for outputting the first portion of the television program; logic for downloading at least a portion of the representation of the second portion of the television program; and logic for outputting the second portion of the television program after outputting the first portion of the television program.
Abstract:
A system, method and computer program product are provided for organizing patents utilizing a computer-implemented system. An identifier is initially determined, after which a notes field is displayed for receiving manually entered notes, such that the manually entered notes are stored in association with the identifier. Further, the manually selection of a file is permitted. Such manually selected file is then stored in association with the identifier. Still yet, a plurality of patents are associated with the identifier. The manually entered notes, the file, and the patents are thus accessible by subsequent selection of the identifier.
Abstract:
An interface is provided for data networking. Included is a network browser window associated with a network browser for displaying content associated with uniform resource locators (URLs) during network browsing. Also displayed is a plurality of identifiers adjacent to or separate from the window in which the content is displayed. In use, a user is allowed to pre-select at least one of the identifiers. Moreover, after the pre-selection, content associated with at least one URL displayed during use of the network browser is correlated with the pre-selected identifier.
Abstract:
According to one embodiment, a method comprises sending, from a first mobile device, a request including information associated with a mobile device of a friend of a user; receiving, in response to the request, a location of the mobile device of the friend of the user; and outputting a map generated based on the received location of the mobile device of the friend of the user.
Abstract:
A system, method, and computer program product are provided for receiving a request to stream a first portion of media content, directing a mobile device to retrieve and process the first portion of media content, receiving a request to stream a second portion of media content, receiving the second portion of media content, and sending the second portion of media content to a display. Additional systems, methods, and computer program products are also presented.
Abstract:
According to one embodiment, a system includes a base station wirelessly connected to a first handset and a second handset, the base station including a first communication port configured to create a wireless connection to a first mobile telephone and a second mobile telephone via Bluetooth, where the first mobile telephone uses a first mobile telephone network and the second mobile telephone uses a second mobile telephone network.

Abstract:
In one embodiment, a method includes obtaining a first plurality of identifiers associated with a first plurality of gaming chips present in a chip tray, the first plurality of gaming chips having a stacked configuration, determining whether each of the first plurality of identifiers associated with the first plurality of gaming chips is valid, determining a value of the first plurality of gaming chips present in the chip tray, utilizing the first plurality of identifiers, identifying an outcome of a game involving the first plurality of gaming chips, calculating a payout associated with the outcome, identifying a second plurality of identifiers associated with a second plurality of gaming chips present in the chip tray, determining a value of the second plurality of gaming chips present in the chip tray, and confirming that the value of the second plurality of gaming chips corresponds to the payout associated with the outcome.
Abstract:
In one embodiment, a method includes receiving a request for a geographical destination from a mobile device, determining geographical coordinates of the destination, and transmitting the coordinates to the mobile device. In another embodiment, a method includes transmitting a request for a geographical destination from a mobile device to a remote location, receiving geographical coordinates of the destination, and outputting a map showing a present location of the mobile device and/or the geographical destination. In yet another embodiment, a method includes receiving a present geographical location of a remote mobile device at a local mobile device, and outputting a map showing a present location of the local mobile device and/or the received location of the remote mobile device. In a further embodiment, a method includes sending a present geographical location of a mobile device to a remote mobile device. Other methods for remote location determination/access are described as well.
