    Abstract: Provided is an imaging element including a reception interface that receives an imaging synchronization signal related to a timing of imaging and at least one output synchronization signal related to a timing of output of image data obtained by imaging from an outside of the imaging element, a memory that is incorporated in the imaging element and stores the image data obtained by imaging at a first frame rate in accordance with the imaging synchronization signal received by the reception interface, and an output circuit that is incorporated in the imaging element and outputs the image data stored in the memory at a second frame rate in accordance with the output synchronization signal received by the reception interface, in which the first frame rate is greater than or equal to the second frame rate.

    Abstract: An imaging element includes a reading circuit that reads out pixel data obtained by imaging a subject at a first frame rate, a memory that stores the read pixel data, and an output circuit that outputs image data based on the stored pixel data at a second frame rate. The first frame rate is a frame rate higher than the second frame rate. The pixel data includes phase difference pixel data and non-phase difference pixel data different from the phase difference pixel data. The reading circuit reads out the pixel data of each of a plurality of frames in parallel within an output period defined by the second frame rate as a period in which the image data of one frame is output, and performs reading of the non-phase difference pixel data and a plurality of reading of the phase difference pixel data within the output period.

    Abstract: An imaging element incorporates a memory and a processor. The memory stores image data obtained by imaging a subject at a first frame rate. The processor is configured to derive a degree of difference between first image data obtained as the image data by performing imaging and second image data that is obtained as the image data earlier than the first image data and stored in the storage portion, and perform processing of deciding at least one of the first image data or the second image data as the output image data in a case where the derived degree of difference is greater than or equal to a threshold value. The processor is configured to output the decided output image data at a second frame rate.

    Abstract: An imaging control device includes: a brightness measurer that acquires a first captured image signal obtained from an imager imaging a subject through a focus lens, and obtains brightness of each of divided areas of a focusing target area set in the first captured image signal; an imaging condition controller that controls an imaging condition of the imager to a state where brightness of a lowest divided area which is one of the divided areas having lowest brightness is set to the set value; a transmittance controller that decreases brightness of other divided areas than the lowest divided area by controlling light transmittance of the areas corresponding to the other divided areas; and a focusing controller that performs focusing control for the focus lens based on the focusing target area of a second captured image signal in a specific state.
