摘要: A fluidic cooling assembly for removing heat from electrical equipment includes operational diversity features in which multiple fluid moving devices are mounted in a single housing. The assembly may include a first fluid baffle and a second fluid baffle disposed within the housing so as to define a first and a second control compartment. A first fan and a second fan may be disposed within the first control compartment and the second control compartment, respectively. A first sensor and a second sensor may be configured to sense changes in operation of the first fluid moving device and the second fluid moving device, respectively; and a controller unit configured for receiving signals generated by the first sensor and the second sensor go as to the transmit control signals to the first fan and the second fan.

摘要: According to the present invention there is provided an improved heat activated dispenser for releasing a vaporizable material into the ambient atmosphere. The inventive heat activated dispenser is made of a material which imparts excellent thermal insulating properties which control the rate of vaporization and provides a long useful life of the dispenser. Due to the novel use of absorbent compactable materials, such as synthetic silicates, the present invention utilizes no binders and substrates. Rather, the dispenser, according to the present invention, is an integral self-supporting structure. The nature of the absorbent compactable material used, makes the use of a novel method of manufacture especially advantageous. According to the novel method of manufacture, there is provided a compaction apparatus for compacting the absorbent compactable material, such as synthetic silicate, into the integral self-supporting structure of the heat activated dispenser. A volume of the absorbent compactable material is impregnated with the desired vaporizable material and added to the compaction apparatus, an additional volume of dry absorbent compactable material may be added. The absorbent compactable materials in the compaction apparatus are pre-formed, then compacted under a pressure sufficient to compact the materials into an integral self-supporting structure.

摘要: A packing gland for a valve wherein the packing gland includes a top portion for receiving a gate. The packing gland includes first and second longitudinal sections of packing material for sealing the gate. In addition, the packing gland includes first and second stuffer elements located adjacent the first and second longitudinal portions. The packing gland also includes a plurality of clamp elements located adjacent the first and second stuffer elements, wherein the clamp elements provide pressure on selected portions of the first and second stuffer elements to compress corresponding selected portions of the first and second longitudinal sections of packing material.

摘要: Systems and methods of providing enhanced digital media playback through application enhancement tracks are described. Application enhancement tracks are derived from the main content that they are associated with and are encoded to aid the performance of one or more functions related to the content, such as visual-search using a video application enhancement track, or trick-play track. In several embodiments, a method of decoding a media file for play back includes obtaining a media file containing compressed content and an accompanying application enhancement track which is a subset of the compressed content, playing back the compressed content, and decoding frames of the application enhancement track at a rate proportional to a visual-search speed and from a location determined by the portion of the compressed content most recently played back.
