    摘要: Valve sealing assemblies and methods of sealing a valve engaging member to a valve body. A first seat member is fixedly disposed within a valve body pocket. Two seal rings are disposed between a valve pocket and a pocket insert and a seal ring is disposed between the pocket insert and a seat member to provide a downstream seal. A built-in lip on one of the seat members and an accommodating groove on the other seat member prevent debris from entering the space between the two seat members. A retainer ring on the exterior annular surface of pocket insert seat member retains the pocket insert within valve body. A retainer ring on the exterior annular surface of the seat member retains the seat member within the pocket insert.

    摘要: A shut-off device with an annular sealing seat (6) composed of annular metallic membranes (9, 10) having approximately identical surfaces and joined to each other on their outside diameter by a weld seam (18) and connected on their inside diameter in a tightly sealed manner to the ring (16) by weld seams (19, 20). The two membranes (9, 10) and the ring (16) together form a pressure chamber (11) in which pressure Ps is effective and which is connected via a bore (17) to the interior of housing (7) in which pressure Pb prevails. The spring assembly is supported in the housing at an inner edge of the smaller diameter spring member and at an outer edge of the larger diameter spring member.

    摘要: A floating seat ring for a gate valve structure has an external pressure source to move the seat ring into engagement with the gate valve. A pocket for the seat ring is formed by a counterbore in the valve body and a tubular insert is inserted within the valve body bore extending within the seat ring. This inner end portion of the tubular insert defines with the counterbore the pocket for the seat ring for floating back and forth movement. An external pressure source is in fluid communication with the pocket behind the seat ring to move the seat ring outwardly.
