Abstract: A method for measuring channel state information (CSI), a network-side device, and a user equipment (UE). The method includes determining, by a network-side device, configuration information, where the configuration information is used to configure UE to perform CSI measurement on different subframe sets on a flexible frequency band or sub-bands of the flexible frequency band, the subframe sets are determined by the network-side device based on uplink-downlink configurations of subframes on the flexible frequency band or the sub-bands of the flexible frequency band in a target cell and at least one neighboring cell of the target cell, and the flexible frequency band is a frequency band on which a transmission direction is configurable, and sending, by the network-side device, the configuration information to the UE to perform the CSI measurement based on the configuration information.

Abstract: A communication method, including receiving, by user equipment (UE), information about one or more backhaul links that is broadcast by different micro base stations, selecting, by the UE, a micro base station corresponding to backhaul link information that meets a preset condition, and accessing, by the UE, the selected micro base station when the selected micro base station is in an active state, or when the selected micro base station is in an inactive state, sending, by the UE, an activation signal to the selected micro base station, and accessing, by the UE, the selected micro base station after the micro base station is activated. Hence, a backhaul link can be used appropriately.

Abstract: An information transmission method and a communication apparatus that is applied to a communication system, for example, V2X, LTE-V, MTC, IoT, LTE-M, and M2M, to perform information transmission between terminal devices in a contention-based scheduling mode. The method includes: a first terminal device sends first sidelink control information SCI to a second terminal device, where the first SCI includes information about a first subchannel set, the first subchannel set is an available subchannel set sensed by the first terminal device on a sidelink SL, and the first SCI does not include modulation and coding scheme MCS information. The first SCI does not include the MCS information. This can both reduce signaling overheads of the first terminal device, and improve efficiency of demodulating the first SCI by the second terminal device.

In the sidelink communication method, a network device determines downlink control information. The downlink control information carries first indication information. The first indication information is used to indicate slot formats respectively corresponding to the terminal devices in K terminal device pairs. A terminal device pair is two terminal devices performing sidelink communication between themselves. K is a positive integer. The network device sends the downlink control information. In the technical solutions provided in this application, the network device may configure a slot format for the terminal devices in the terminal device pairs.
