摘要： An ophthalmic lens , e.g. a contact lens, is centered in a concave trough (10) of an inspection cell (1) which is filled with liquid (W). The inspection cell (10) has a channel (11) which is in communication with the concave trough (10). Centering of the ophthalmic lens is achieved by applying a pulse (P) of a fluid to the liquid (W) so as to whirl up the ophthalmic lens (CL) and by allowing the ophthalmic lens (CL) to settle down in the center of the concave trough (10).

摘要： An oil filter for an internal combustion engine with a cup-shaped housing that is releasably connectable to a receiving head. The housing has a first interlocking element that extends across at least a portion of the outer circumference of the housing and is interrupted by at least one axially extending recess. The filter element has a liquid-tight canister provided on its outer surface with second interlocking elements, which fit into the recesses of corresponding first interlocking elements when the filter element is installed in the housing.

摘要： In general, the invention is directed to devices and methods that are useful for surface preparation of implantable medical devices. In the case of a vascular graft, the invention presents devices and methods that enhance endothelial cell seeding by providing recesses in the luminal surface that can receive endothelial cells. When the device is constructed of a material such as expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE), the recesses may be created by physical processing of the microstructures of the material. The physical processing lifts nodes from the surface, forming recesses that can receive endothelial cells.

A filter element (21) is situated inside the housing (11) in such a way that an oil inlet (18) is sealingly separated from an oil outlet (19). The lid (13) has a seal holder (15), in which a groove (27) for receiving the seal (25) is arranged. The seal (25) preferably has a beveled area (26), which projects at least partially beyond the seal holder (15). As a result of this beveled area (26), only small mounting forces are required to mount the exchangeable filter (10).
