Abstract: An IAB node switching method is applied to a relay system, and the relay system includes a donor base station and a first IAB node. The donor base station provides a gateway function for the first IAB node. The first IAB node receives a first BWP configuration from the donor base station, where the first BWP configuration includes a BWP configuration of a second IAB node, and the second IAB node is a candidate upper-level node of the first IAB node. The first IAB node switches to the second IAB node. According to the IAB node switching method, the IAB node, and the donor base station that are provided in this application, service availability of an IAB node is ensured when the IAB node has a plurality of upper-level nodes.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose various methods and systems. One example method comprises receiving first configuration information from a donor centralized unit (CU). The first configuration information indicates that when one or more respective values of one or more first fields in a data packet correspondingly meets respective first value ranges of the first fields, the data packet is transmitted through a first channel between the donor distributed unit (DU) and a child node. The first configuration information is stored. In a second example, first configuration information is obtained indicating that when one or more respective values of one or more first fields in a data packet meet one or more respective first value ranges of the one or more first fields, the data packet is transmitted through a first channel between a donor DU and a child node, and the first configuration information is sent to the donor DU.

Abstract: A data packet transmission method and apparatus are provided. The method includes: An IAB donor determines first configuration information, where the first configuration information is used to indicate a first backhaul link BH RLC channel, and the first BH RLC channel is used to transmit a control protocol data unit PDU at a backhaul adaptation protocol BAP layer. The IAB donor sends the first configuration information to an IAB node. According to the foregoing procedure, the IAB donor indicates, by using the first configuration information, the IAB node to send the control PDU at the BAP layer through the first BH RLC channel, to implement bearer mapping when the IAB node needs to send the control PDU at the BAP layer.

Abstract: This application provides a communication method and an apparatus. UE establishes a connection to a home access gateway by using CPE, the home access gateway sends configuration information of a first link and configuration information of a second link to the CPE, and sends the configuration information of the second link to the UE. The first link is a link between the CPE and the home access gateway, the second link is a link between the CPE and the UE, the configuration information of the first link is used to indicate quality of service QoS information of the first link, and the configuration information of the second link is used to indicate QoS information of the second link. The UE and the CPE ensure, based on respective configuration information, QoS of UE service data transmitted on the first link and the second link.
