Abstract: A multi-link access point (AP) device is configured for multi-link operation to communicate with a plurality of non-AP stations (STAs) over a plurality of corresponding links. A multi-link policy element is encoded for transmission to the non-AP STAs to signal a multi-link policy. The multi-link policy element comprises a common policy sub-element and a plurality of link-specific policy sub-elements. The common policy sub-element is applicable to all links. Each of the link-specific policy sub-elements is applicable to a single link. The link-specific policy sub-elements comprise at least a first link-specific policy sub-element applicable to a first link and a second link-specific policy sub-element applicable to a second link. The common policy sub-element defines a link policy for all links that have been set up between the multi-link AP device and the non-AP STAs. Each link-specific policy element defines a link policy specific to an associated link.

Abstract: Embodiments of an access point (AP) configured for extremely high throughput (EHT) operation may be configured to operate as a triggering AP for a trigger-based (TB) peer-to-peer (P2P) communication between a triggered direct (TD) station (STA) and a TD peer STA. The AP may encode a Direct Link Announcement (DiL-A) frame to schedule the TD STA for a direct link transmission to the TD peer STA. The DiL-A frame may be encoded to include a Duration/ID field. The AP may set the Duration/ID field of the DiL-A frame to a remaining duration of a transmission opportunity (TXOP) when the TD peer STA is an EHT STA that supports TB P2P operation (e.g., to allow the TD peer STA to ignore the NAV set by the DiL-A frame). The AP may set the Duration/ID field of the DiL-A frame to a response time for the TD STA to respond to the DiL-A frame when the TD Peer STA is a legacy STA (e.g., to allow the TD peer STA to set its NAV based on the response time).

Abstract: Embodiments of an access point (AP), station (STA) and method of communication are generally described herein. The AP may be configurable for multi-band operation in a plurality of frequency bands, each frequency band comprising one or more channels. The AP may select a subset of the frequency bands for which the AP is to request per-band channel availability information from the STA. The AP may transmit a Trigger Frame (TF) for a multi-band bandwidth query report polling (MB-BQRP) to request the per-band channel availability information. The AP may receive an uplink frame that includes a multi-band bandwidth query report (MB-BQR) that indicates the per-band channel availability information. The AP may determine, based on the MB-BQR, for an uplink transmission by the STA: one or more frequency bands of the subset of frequency bands, and one or more corresponding channels.

Abstract: The application relates to a method and apparatus used in Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs). The apparatus includes: a Radio Frequency (RF) interface; and processor circuitry coupled with the RF interface and configured to: determine Buffered Unit (BU) information, which indicates presence or absence of BUs for a set of non-Access Point (AP) Multi-link Devices (MLDs) on an AP MLD; encapsulate the BU information for the set of non-AP MLDs in a Multilink (ML) Traffic Indication Map (TIM) information element; and provide the ML TIM information element to the RF interface for broadcasting, wherein the ML TIM information element comprises a series of TIM segments and each TIM segment contains the BU information, which indicates the presence or absence of BUs for a subset of non-AP MLDs on a corresponding AP within the AP MLD.

A device may identify, using an 802.3 protocol stack, an 802.3 frame received from a second device using a wired Ethernet connection, and extract, using the 802.3 protocol stack, a redundancy tag from the 802.3 frame, the redundancy tag including a sequence number. The device may generate, using an 802.11 protocol stack, an 802.11 frame with a subnetwork access protocol (SNAP) field, the SNAP field including an organizationally unique identifier (OUI) and the sequence number, the OUI including an indication of an Ethertype protocol. The device may send the 802.11 frame using a wireless connection.

Abstract: An access point station (AP) configured for performing wireless local area network (WLAN) sensing may establish one or more sensing-by-proxy (SBP) procedures with a non-AP station (STA). The AP may encode an SBP termination frame to terminate one or more of the established SBP procedures by the AP. The SBP termination frame may be encoded to include a Measurement Setup ID field and a SBP Termination Control field that may comprise a Terminate All SBP Setups subfield. The AP may set the Terminate All SBP Setups subfield to a first predetermined value to indicate that the AP is requesting that all established SBP procedures between the SBP initiator (i.e., the STA) and the SBP responder (i.e., the AP) are to be terminated. The AP may set the Terminate All SBP Setups subfield to a second predetermined value to indicate that the AP is requesting that a single one of the established SBP procedures is to be terminated. The SBP procedure to be terminated may be indicated by the Measurement Setup ID field.

Abstract: Embodiments of a beacon interval with boundary time points (BTPs) to improve latency for time sensitive traffic (TST) in Extremely High Throughout (EHT) WLANS are disclosed herein. The beacon frame may indicate one or more BTPs within a beacon interval (BI). The non-AP STA may obtain a transmission opportunity (TXOP) for a transmission to the AP STA. The TXOP may be bounded by the one or more BTPs. The non-AP STA may encode a PPDU for transmission to the AP STA during the TXOP.
