Abstract: A detection device and a display device include first electrodes, second electrodes, a detector, and a coupling circuit. The first electrodes are disposed side by side in a first direction and a second direction intersecting the first direction. The second electrodes are disposed on the side facing the first electrodes and extend in the second direction. The detector receives a first detection signal output from the second electrodes based on changes in capacitance between the first electrodes and the second electrodes or a second detection signal output from the first electrodes based on changes in capacitance in the first electrodes.

Abstract: According to an aspect, a detection device includes: at least one substrate; a plurality of first electrodes extending in a first direction of the substrate and are arrayed in a second direction intersecting the first direction; a plurality of second electrodes arrayed in a row-column configuration in a layer different from a layer of the first electrodes; and a coupling circuit configured to switch between a first coupling state of electrically coupling a plurality of second electrodes arrayed in the second direction to one another, and a second coupling state of electrically coupling a plurality of second electrodes to one another. A combination of the second electrodes is different from a combination of the second electrodes in the first coupling state.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a sensor-equipped display device includes a display panel which includes a sensor driving electrode disposed in a display area for displaying an image, detection electrodes each including a body portion opposed to the sensor driving electrode in the display area and a broadened portion connected to the body portion and formed to be wider than the body portion, and a lead line disposed in a non-display area outside the display area and electrically connected to the broadened portion. The broadened portion is disposed in the non-display area without being overlaid on the display area in planar view.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a sensor device includes a panel and a control circuit. The panel includes an insulating layer, a first electrode, and a second electrode. The control circuit including a first circuit including a timing control circuit and a first amplifier, and a second circuit including a detection circuit connected to a ground line. During a first sensing drive period, the first output unit outputs a first synchronization signal, the timing control circuit outputs a second synchronization signal, the first amplifier provides the amplified second synchronization signal to each of the floating ground line and the first electrode, and the detector reads a change in a sensor signal.

Abstract: A sensor device includes a capacitive touch panel including a plurality of electrodes, an input device configured such that a resonance circuit including a first conductor and a second conductor is covered with a non-conductor, and a sensor controller. The first conductor and the second conductor are capacitively coupled to at least one of a plurality of electrodes in the touch panel when the input device is disposed on the touch panel or when the input device disposed on the touch panel is operated. The sensor controller is configured to detect positions of the first conductor and the second conductor on the touch panel by applying a voltage to the plurality of electrodes in the touch panel based on a resonance frequency of the resonance circuit.
