The optical assembly includes a first translucent substrate, a second translucent substrate, a first layer of adhesive, and a second layer of adhesive. The first layer of adhesive is bonded to the first translusive substrate and the second layer of adhesive is bonded to the second translusive substrate. The first layer of adhesive is configured for diffusive effects, and the second layer of adhesive is configured for diffusive effects.

摘要: A multi-contact LCD heater system which include several contacts disposed around the periphery of a resistive film deposited on a substrate in which each contact is dynamically controlled in response to input from various temperature sensors. The control allows for each contact to be connected to a high potential or a low potential source or remain isolated. Spatial, temporal and amplitude modulation of the heat applied to the LCD is achieved.

摘要: A liquid crystal display optical component stack-up is created with reduced defects typically caused by adhesive materials used to attach optical components to the liquid crystal display. A layer of silicone gel is positioned between a surface of the liquid crystal display and a surface of a first optical component. The layer of silicone gel attaches the first optical component to the liquid crystal display such that strain on the liquid crystal display is minimized.
