摘要： A leak tolerant liquid cooling system for electrical components comprises a cooling circuit which contains a pump and conduits that circulate a liquid coolant past the electrical components and through the bottom chamber of a purge tank. This purge tank also has a top chamber which is connected to the bottom chamber through a passageway; and, the bottom chamber is sized such that the liquid coolant passes through it with a velocity which is low enough to let any air bubbles in the coolant rise and move by buoyancy through the passageway into the top chamber. Air is purged from the top chamber through a valved output port by forcing liquid coolant into the top chamber through a valved input port. To complete this purge quickly, the passageway between the purge tank chambers is configured in a way which hinders the flow of coolant from the top chamber to the bottom chamber while the coolant is being forced into the top chamber. As the air purging occurs, the coolant continues to be pumped past the electrical components through the cooling circuit.

The hopper floor extension extend a to a sufficient extent such that a total length of the hopper floor is at least about 5.5 inches.

In one aspect, a document processing device includes a path of travel of documents through the document processing device, the path of travel including an approximately straight portion between a document tray and a document outlet and a return path to the document tray. The document processing device also includes a magnetic ink character recognition reader placed adjacent to the path of travel, and oriented to read magnetic characters printed on a document passing along the path of travel, the document having a front surface and a rear surface. The document processing device also includes an image capture device placed adjacent to the approximately straight portion of the path of travel and oriented to capture an image of the document passing along the path of travel. A plurality of rollers at least partially defines the path of travel, and includes a drive roller configured to route documents along the path of travel. A one-way gate defines a portion of the path of travel, the one-way gate capable of cooperating with the drive roller to reverse the orientation of the front and rear surfaces of the document within the path of travel.

A low-profile document feeding machine includes a feeder, a hopper, at least one processing device, and an output pocket. The apparatus further includes a reversible motor including a shaft, a first one-way clutch, a second one-way clutch, a nudger device, and a jogging device. The nudger device is drivingly connected to the motor through the first one-way clutch such that driving the motor in a forward direction drives the nudger device to urge a document from a document stack in the hopper into the feeder. The jogging device is drivingly connected to the motor through the second one-way clutch such that driving the motor in a reverse direction drives the jogging device to align the documents in the document stack prior to feeding.

摘要： A hand-separable ribbon spool shaft assembly adapts a plain ribbon spool so as to provide drive and location functions. The shaft assembly is composed of at least two shaft parts that are assembled to the ribbon spool and cooperate to provide a manual hand-action locking mechanism. First and second ends of the shaft assembly provide bearing and locating surfaces when the shaft assembly is positioned in a printer. The bearing and locating services allow the ribbon spool shaft assembly to rotate during operation of the printer, and the assembly further includes a gear drive means for driving the rotating ribbon spool.
