摘要: A mobile station (14) transmits a signal after connection is established, by using the same number of subcarriers as the number of subcarriers equal to or smaller than a predetermined number used for transmitting a connection request signal (TCCH). A base station (12) detects the number of subcarriers used for transmitting the connection request signal (TCCH) (S106), and controls in accordance with the detected number of subcarriers the passband width of a bandpass filter having a passband with a variable width accommodating the predetected number of subcarriers, for separating a signal of the mobile station (14) falling within the passband from a received signal (S108).

摘要: A digital camera having an acoustic member includes a first cover, a water-proof sheet and a second cover. The second cover is spaced from the water-proof sheet. The first cover has a first sound hole opposed to the acoustic member. The water-proof sheet is disposed such as to covers the first sound hole. The second cover has a second sound hole. The second sound hole is deviated in position toward an outer periphery of the first sound hole so that the second sound hole is not located on an extension of an axis of the first sound hole.

摘要: The invention determines a transmission power value or a data rate in transmission power control in a reception side apparatus. A communication apparatus includes a modulation class controlling portion for selecting one data rate, and transmits a communication signal having the selected one data rate to a communication apparatus. The communication apparatus includes a storage portion for storing necessary received power data, and a line quality calculating portion for acquiring received power data of the received communication signal, for acquiring transmission power remaining data representing a difference between a maximum transmittable power of the communication apparatus and a transmission power when the communication apparatus transmits the communication signal, and for determining a data rate based on maximum received power data estimated based on the transmission power remaining data and received power data, and necessary received power data, and transmits information on the data rate to the communication apparatus.

摘要: Provided is a board for ion generation that is capable of generating negative ions with much better efficiency and in an amount larger than that of positive ions. In the board for ion generation, a discharge electrode is formed on one principal surface of a substrate formed of ceramics, an induction electrode is formed on another principal surface of the substrate, the discharge electrode and the induction electrode being disposed opposite to each other, a first protective layer and a second protective layer are formed so as to cover the discharge electrode and the induction electrode, respectively. Surface discharge is generated on a surface of the first protective layer by applying an AC voltage between the discharge electrode and induction electrode, and positive ions and negative ions are alternately generated in the air. In the board for ion generation, the porosity of the substrate is 5 to 10 vol. %.

摘要: In encoder side, an electronic watermark generating device generates an electronic watermark which contains a encryption key. An electronic watermark inserting device inserts the electronic watermark containing the encryption key into a first portion of data. An encrypting device encrypts a second portion of the data with the encryption key. The first portion into which the watermark containing the encryption key has been inserted and the second portion which has been encrypted with the encryption key are combined by a switch and thereafter recorded on a record medium or transmitted to a network. In decoder side, the watermark containing the encryption key is extracted from the first portion and the encryption key is extracted from the watermark. The second portion is decrypted with the extracted encryption key.
