摘要: A small-sized boat of the present invention includes a plurality of diaphragm type carburetors corresponding to each cylinder of a multicylinder engine. A crankshaft axis extends along a line extending through a bow and a stern of a hull. The carburetors include a plurality of shafts for throttle valves extending vertically in correspondence thereto, one throttle link connected to upper parts of the shafts for the throttle valves, and a plurality of diaphragm mechanisms having operating surfaces perpendicular to the crankshaft axis. By linking a plurality of the carburetors together to form an assembly of the carburetors, an overall size of carburetors is made small. Therefore, each carburetor can be mounted in a small engine room in correspondence to each cylinder of the engine.

摘要: A portable engine-operated electric generator includes an engine having an output shaft and including heated and unheated components required for operation of the engine, a generator unit having an input shaft and drivable by the engine, the engine and the generator unit being vertically arranged, the output shaft of the engine and the input shaft of the generator unit being coupled to each other in axial alignment in a vertical direction, and a sound insulating case accommodating the engine and the generator unit and having a horizontal longitudinal axis. The heated and unheated components are separated from each other by, and located on opposite sides of, a plane lying in the vertical direction and in a direction normal to the horizontal longitudinal axis.

摘要: A hose clamp made from a unitary, spring steel band formed into a generally cylindrical configuration. The clamp has a support piece extending radially outwardly from one end of the spring steel band, a slot opening formed in the one end adjacent the support piece and extending a predetermined length in a circumferential direction of the spring steel band, a projecting piece formed at the other end of the spring steel band and fitting in circumferential relationship in the slot opening, and an upstanding tab formed at the distal end of the projecting piece and extending radially outwardly of the spring steel band. With this arrangement, when the spring steel band is deflected to its expanded position, the tab is retained on the support piece so as to temporarily lock the spring steel band in its open or expanded position.

摘要: The present subject matter relates to arrangements and uses for engine speed governors. In particular, an automatic idle system for a small engine can include an engine speed governor for connection to a small engine with a governor shaft rotatable in response to a speed of the engine. A governor linkage can include a first portion for connection to the governor shaft and a second portion for connection to a throttle control of the engine, the first portion being movably connected with or to the second portion. An actuator can be connected to the second portion of the governor linkage, the actuator being movable in response to a load on the engine to move the second portion relative to the first portion. In this configuration, when the engine is in a low-load state, the second portion can be moved relative to the first portion toward a throttle-closed position.

A spark plug boot assembly is provided and can include a body member, a coiled terminal, and a voltage source ignition cable. The coiled terminal can have a first end, a second end, and a middle portion and can include one or more coils that can extend to form an inner area with the coils having a varying inside diameter. The first end can be configured to receive a spark plug terminal. Also, the voltage source ignition cable can be configured to provide an additional electrical contact to the coiled terminal.
