摘要: A mesh is placed over an image of an element thereby dividing the image (element) into a plurality of solids. Each of the solids is then divided equally into the even number of parts. Inclusion-ratio determination-points, which are points where the straight lines and the mesh intercross, are decided. Moreover, it is determined whether the inclusion-ratio determination-points are inside or outside of the element. An analytical model for the element is created based on whether the inclusion-ratio determination-points are inside or outside of the element.

摘要: Navigation information distribution systems, methods, and programs transfer a piece of vehicle position information to an information distribution center every predetermined time period, the piece of vehicle information including a vehicle position and a time when the vehicle passes through the vehicle position. The systems, methods, and programs receive pieces of vehicle position information and traffic information including congestion information, store the received pieces of vehicle position information in order of arrival, and specify a congested road section on the basis of congestion information. The systems, methods, and programs assign a weight of a first travel distance within the congested road section, the weight of the first travel distance calculated on the basis of two of the received pieces of vehicle position information received from the navigation apparatus and congestion information about the congested section. The systems, methods, and programs calculate a first travel time corresponding to the first travel distance, calculate the congested section travel time necessary for passing through the congested section based on the calculated first travel time, and distribute the calculated congested section travel time to a navigation apparatus.

摘要: Navigation systems, methods and programs for a vehicle detect a number of travel lanes available for traveling in a direction that the vehicle is traveling. The systems, methods, and programs detect a lane in which the vehicle is currently located and determine a congestion degree for each of the available travel lanes. The systems, methods, and programs determine a degree of difficulty of turning right or left at a next intersection that the vehicle is approaching based on the detected number of available travel lanes, the detected lane in which the vehicle is currently located, and the detected congestion degree. The systems, methods, and programs select a travel route in accordance with the determined degree of difficulty and provide guidance information on the selected travel route.

摘要: A musical instrument for musical therapy which stimulates and urges patients suffering from dementia, aphasia, and other functional disorders of the brain to voluntarily play and to sing a song comprises an indicating part for displaying the lyrics of a song or other musical indicia in a predetermined pattern, an operating panel, and a scale generator. The indicating part is mounted upon the operating panel, which is provided with a plurality of switch elements arranged in physical alignment with the respective lyrics of the song or other musical indicia. The plural switch elements are connected to the scale generator such that a musical tone or voice signal is output by the scale generator in accordance with a selected switch element. By use of the inventive device, a patient is stimulated and urged to sing the song when the patient successively activates the switch elements corresponding to the displayed lyrics of the song.

摘要: A CPU of a navigation device transmits probe information including link traveling information and average vehicle speed information at every predetermined time to an information distribution center. On the other hand, when receiving the probe information, a CPU of the information distribution center reads the road type corresponding to each link ID and user's average vehicle speed during uncongested road traveling from the probe information, and determines the vehicle speed region corresponding to this link ID from a vehicle speed region determination table. Thereafter, the CPU of the information distribution center creates traffic information from this vehicle speed region and the probe information, stores it in a center side traffic information DB and statistically processes traffic information of a certain period to generate a link cost corresponding to a link ID and a time zone of a relevant vehicle speed region of statistical traffic information.

摘要: A CPU specifies factors related to the month, the day of the week, and a time period including the current point in time, based on time data obtained by a timer. The CPU also specifies factors that are related to a grid ID and a road category of a given link, based on map display data, link data, and the like stored in an update map information database. The CPU then reads a sample collection number indicating the number of samples of probe information required to generate traffic information for that link and in sequence for other links. When a center traffic information DB contains stored therein, samples of probe information equal to or greater than the sample collection number for a link, the CPU generates the traffic information for that link and stores the generated traffic information as current traffic information.

摘要: There is provided an electromagnetic field intensity calculator for calculating the intensity of electromagnetic field radiated from an electric circuit device based on a moment method. A conductor pattern obtained from CAD data is divided into a square mesh pattern. In the mesh pattern of the outline part, the entire region in the mesh pattern is filled with the conductor pattern according to the ratio of area between the conductor pattern region and the blank region, or subjected to correction for blanking, so that a mesh data model is automatically configured by mesh pattern group consisting of only squares conforming to the moment method and reflecting the outline of the conductor pattern.
