摘要： Fatty acid compositions for administration of of pharmaceutical agents, such as proteins and peptides, protein and peptide conjugates, and/or cation-polypeptide conjugate complexes. In particular, the invention provides a solid pharmaceutical composition formulated for oral administration by ingestion, having from about 0.1 to about 75% w/w fatty acid component, where the fatty acid component comprises saturated or unsaturated C4, C5, C6, C7, C8, C9, C10, C11, or C12 fatty acids and/or salts of such fatty acids; and a therapeutic agent. Further, the invention provides a liquid pharmaceutical composition formulated for oral administration by ingestion, comprising: from about 0.1 to about 10% w/v fatty acid component, where the fatty acid component comprises saturated or unsaturated C4, C5, C6, C7, C8, C9, C10, C11, or C12 fatty acids and/or salts of such fatty acids; and a therapeutic agent.

In the first position, the saw assembly is movable from an upper position to a lower position towards the table. In the second position, the saw assembly is underneath the table. A table latch assembly may latch the table in the first and second position. The table latch assembly may prevent movement to the second position when, in the first position, the saw assembly is in the upper position.

摘要： An improved window frame and window piece for a micromirror assembly is disclosed herein. The window frame includes a stress-relieving contour positioned in the middle of the frame that can absorb the mechanical stresses applied to the window frame from the ceramic base and from the window piece. The window frame may be comprised of a single piece of sheet metal that has been stamped to include a stress-relieving contour. The stress-relieving contour may be comprised of a variety of shapes, including a “U” shape, an inverted “U” shape, a curved step shape, or other combinations thereof.

摘要： The present invention provides for a fitted wedge wherein a formed outer frame is loosely fitted into a desired gap. The formed outer frame contains a lateral gap such that the formed outer frame is substantially or completely divided into two halves. A thin, stiff sheet coated with a resin saturated felt is then inserted between the two halves of the outer frame. The two halves are pushed apart, snuggly fitting the formed outer frame into place. The resin in the felt is then cured, forming a single, snuggly fit wedge.

The drainage reservoir can collect the bodily fluid from the container before the bodily fluid flows into the drain. Some embodiments of the medical apparatus include a drainage conduit or a drainage pipe. In some embodiments, the drainage reservoir is constructed of a transparent material. The medical apparatus can include a venturi valve and, in some embodiments, the water passing through the venturi valve remains separate from the bodily fluid until the water and the bodily fluid reach the drain.

摘要： The present invention relates to a human T-cell line (PNG-1) persistently infected with a Papua New Guinea (PNG) HTLV-I variant and to the infecting virus (PNG-1 variant). Cells of the present invention express viral antigens, type C particles and have a low level of reverse transcriptase activity. The establishment of this cell line, the first of its kind from an individual from Papua New Guinea, makes possible the screening of Melanesian populations using a local virus strain. The present invention also relates to vaccines for use in humans against infection with and diseases caused by HTLV-I and related viruses. The invention further relates to a variety of bioassays and kits for the detection and diagnosis of infection with and diseases caused by HTLV-I and related viruses.
