摘要: The present invention discloses a technique for providing a packet recovery method, and the like, capable of starting packet recovery processing without waiting for a wasteful latency (time-out) at a mobile terminal by giving notice of information on a packet discard in a gateway device in real time, thereby enabling improvement in communication quality and communication efficiency. According to the technique, there is provided a packet recovery method for recovering a packet discarded by an intermediate device positioned on a communication path between a mobile terminal and a correspondent node of the mobile terminal among packets exchanged between the mobile terminal and correspondent node, the method including: a step of causing the intermediate device to transmit a discard notification message to the mobile terminal based on information on a communication flow for which transmission of the discard notification message indicating that the packet has been discarded is required; and a step of causing the mobile terminal to transmit the correspondent node a retransmission request message for requesting retransmission of the discarded packet based the discard notification message.

摘要: Disclosed is a technique for effectively transmitting a plurality of contents under the situation securing minimum QoS. According to the technique, among a plurality of contents to be transmitted to a data reception device, two or more contents are set as main contents, and the remaining contents are set as stand-by contents. One of the two or more main contents is set as a broadcasting content to be broadcasted actually, and the remaining main content is set as a switching content. The data transmission device transmits the two main contents to the data reception device via a high-quality line (main content line) and transmits the remaining stand-by contents via a line of a quality lower than the main content line (proxy data transmission line). Contents are switched by interchanging between a broadcasting content and a switching content and interchanging between a switching content and a stand-by content.

摘要: Disclosed in a technique for performing data transmission between units efficiently in an imaging device, in which a camera unit and the other units (particularly a display unit) are separated and connected wirelessly, to improve convenience. According to this technique, video content data imaged by an imaging section is encoded, by means of hierarchical coding, into checking content coded data of a core layer and saving content coded data of an enhancement layer. The checking content coded data is sent immediately from a checking content transmission section 906 to a display unit 950 through wireless communication, and a display thereof is output. On the other hand, the saving content coded data is stored in a recording section 907 together with the checking content coded data. Thus, both a rapid display of video content data and storage thereof while keeping the quality are achieved.

摘要: Disclosed is a technique of efficiently collecting communication quality information with excellent responsiveness in wireless resource management. According to the technique, a RRM 110 distributes measurement content information showing measurement contents for recognizing a wireless communication status to each AP 230, and each AP stores the measurement content information. For example, to recognize a wireless resource use status of an AP, the RRM transmits trigger transmission instruction information to an eNB 150, as a result of which trigger information is transmitted throughout a communication area of the eNB. A UE 301 that has received the trigger information acquires the measurement content information from an AP (for example, AP_a 230a) to which it is connected, and performs a measurement process and reports a measurement result to the RRM via the eNB based on the measurement content information.

摘要: A technique disclosed enables a node having a plurality of interfaces to conduct connection of the plurality of interfaces simultaneously in a communication network domain. A mobile node having a plurality of interfaces connects one of the interfaces with a MAG (mobile access gateway) 11a to take part in a NetLMM domain 18 using a NetLMM protocol, and a LMA (local mobility anchor) 13 includes association information with the MAG 11a registered therein. When the mobile node connects another interface with another MAG 11b, the LMA receives a registration request for association information of this mobile node with the MAG 11b, and makes an inquiry to the already registered MAG 11a as to whether link with the mobile node is still valid or not. If the link is valid, the LMA keeps association information of the mobile node with both of the MAGs 11a and 11b.

摘要: Provided is a mobile communication system which includes a plurality of RAT (Radio Access Technology) and can eliminate the need of a control channel for reporting RAT information so as to prevent congestion or shortage of the control channel capacity. In the mobile communication system, an LTE relay station (30) has a cover area (31) identical to a cover area (21) owned by a WLAN host station (20) and relays/transmits the signal received from an LTE base station (10) to a mobile station (40) in the cover area (31). The LTE relay station (30) adds to the signal received from the LTE base station (10), one of the offsets: a frequency offset, a time offset, and a power offset as information indicating that the mobile station (40) which receives a relay signal from the local station is located in the cover area (21) of WLAN and transmits the signal after offset addition to the mobile station (40) located in the cover area (31) (i.e., the cover area (21)).

摘要: Disclosed is a technique to enable a user equipment at a remote place to perform local IP access to a locally-accessible network with simpler procedure and such a configuration while achieving the efficiency of costs and facility. According to the technique, a network (LIA-PDN 161) capable of dealing with a local IP access by a user equipment (UE 101) is placed on a core network 141. When the UE establishes a PDN connection with the LIA-PDN, the UE simultaneously transmits information concerning the LIA domain network 111 as well, to which the UE wants a local IP access. On the basis of this information, the LIA-PDN establishes a PDN connection with the LIA domain network, and the LIA-PDN transfers a packet, whereby the UE can access the LIA domain network via these PDN connections.
