摘要: The invention relates to a method, mobile node and computer-readable medium for establishing (or pre-establishing) a secure tunnel to an ePDG to prepare for a mobile node attachment or handover to another access network. To reduce the delay of a handover or upon attachment of a mobile node to an access network implied by mechanisms to discover a ePDG, the mobile node maintains a reachability list that can be consulted to identify an ePDG or ePDGs that are reachable in the target access network, i.e. to which the mobile node may establish a secure tunnel. If the mobile node can identify a reachable ePDG for a given access network from the reachability list, the mobile node (pre-)establishes a secure tunnel to the ePDG upon attaching to the given access network. In alternative solutions DNS, DHCP or other mechanism can be used to provide the mobile node with information on ePDGs in its vicinity.

摘要: A technology is disclosed for providing a handover processing method, and an access point and a mobile terminal used in the method, in which the handover processing method can prevent processing of a HO in a layer 2 and an HO in a layer 3 from occurring at same time simultaneously, and shorten waiting time caused by the HO. The technology includes a step of providing, by the access point, strength information held by the access point itself, the strength information that is information whether to promote a handover processing in the layer 3 or not to promote the handover processing in the layer 3, and a step of receiving, by the mobile node, the provided strength information, deciding whether to perform the handover in the layer 3 based on the received strength information, and performing the handover processing in the layer 3 based on the decision.

摘要: Provided is a mobile communication system which includes a plurality of RAT (Radio Access Technology) and can eliminate the need of a control channel for reporting RAT information so as to prevent congestion or shortage of the control channel capacity. In the mobile communication system, an LTE relay station (30) has a cover area (31) identical to a cover area (21) owned by a WLAN host station (20) and relays/transmits the signal received from an LTE base station (10) to a mobile station (40) in the cover area (31). The LTE relay station (30) adds to the signal received from the LTE base station (10), one of the offsets: a frequency offset, a time offset, and a power offset as information indicating that the mobile station (40) which receives a relay signal from the local station is located in the cover area (21) of WLAN and transmits the signal after offset addition to the mobile station (40) located in the cover area (31) (i.e., the cover area (21)).

摘要: A technology is disclosed for efficiently managing the peer relationship, and in particular for allowing to discover which of one or more communication links of the network entity is connected to another network entity having the same identifier. According to this technology, for example, the ID Controller (202) of the network entity (201) generates a quasi unique identifier for the network entity from all the physical address on its multiple interfaces. The peer relationship controller (203) verifies if the generated quasi unique identifier is overlapping with that of another network entity. The link control logic (205), upon sending a message to the network entity associated with the unique identifier, determines correspondence of the unique identifier with the peer network entity to interchangeably use the communication links (link 1 (211) to link n (213)).

摘要: An engine misfiring detection system includes a crank angle sensor for generating a reference pulse representative of a reference crank angle position in each cylinder of the engine, and a ring gear sensor for monitoring a magnitude of crank angle rotated from the reference crank angle position so as to define a first crank angle position required for starting an angular velocity measurement for an engine crankshaft and a second crank angle position required for ending the angular velocity measurement. A controller is provided to determine an engine misfiring state on the basis of fluctuations in a measuring time reaching from the first crank angle position to the second crank angle position. The controller variably sets the first and second crank angle positions in response to changes in an ignition timing of the engine. The controller determines a tooth defect in the ring gear on the basis of a ratio of said measuring time and a time interval necessary to reach from the reference crank angle position in relation to a firing cylinder to the reference crank angle position in relation to the subsequent cylinder.

摘要: In an exhaust emission control system for an internal combustion engine, a secondary air is selectively introduced into an exhaust passage at a first position upstream of a catalytic converter. A failure detection system utilizes a plurality of temperatures of an exhaust gas for detecting a failure of the exhaust emission control system. A first temperature is derived at a second position between the first position and the catalytic converter when the secondary air is introduced into the exhaust passage at the first position. A second temperature is derived at the second position when no secondary air is introduced into the exhaust passage at the first position. By comparing the first and second temperature, it is detected whether the exhaust emission control system includes a failure. Third and fourth temperatures may also be derived at a third position located inside or downstream of the catalytic converter, which respectively correspond to the first and second temperatures. By comparing a difference between the first and third temperatures and a difference between the second and fourth temperatures, it is detected whether the exhaust emission control system includes a failure.

摘要: A method and apparatus for diagnosing a presence or absence of failure in an idle switch installed in an internal combustion engine in which, a throttle valve of an internal combustion engine is associated with the idle switch. The throttle valve installed in the engine is usually displaced to a fully closed while the engine at least once is during each period of continuous operation, a counter is advanced whenever the engine has started and is cleared when receiving an activation signal from the idle switch, if the idle switch functions normally, a count value of the counter reaches zero by the time the engine has stopped. If the idle switch fails, the count value is advanced whenever the engine is operated and no signal from the idle switch is received. When the count value reaches a predetermined value, an alarm informing the failure of the idle switch is produced.

摘要: Disclosed is a technique to provide a handover method that can improve the communication efficiency by reducing tunnel overhead between a mobile node and a home agent. When the mobile node (UE) (107) performs handover (HO) from a first access router (104) to a second access router (105) and if the IP versions supported by the networks before and after the HO are different, the UE transmits a first message including an allocation request for a home address of the HO target to the home agent (HA) and a second message including an address allocation request. The HA transmits to the UE, a third message including the home address of the HO target based on the allocation request and transmits to the UE, a fourth message including the home address based on the address allocation request.
