    Abstract: Provided are a method for performing a handover by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, and an apparatus supporting the same. The method may include: receiving information on candidate target cells for the handover and a handover condition, from a base station; initiating a handover to a first target cell among the candidate target cells, based on the handover condition; before detecting a failure of the handover to the first target cell, when channel quality of a second target cell among the candidate target cells is higher than channel quality of the first target cell, stopping the handover to the first target cell; and performing a handover to the second target cell.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for support of load balancing for supplementary uplink (SUL) in central unit (CU)-distributed unit (DU) architecture in a new radio access technology (NR) is provided. A gNB central unit (gNB-CU) receives, from at least one gNB distributed unit (gNB-DU), information related to a load status of supplementary uplink (SUL) for the at least one gNB-DU, and determines to adjust at least one parameter related to the SUL for a gNB-DU, among the at least one gNB-DU, based on the information related to the load status of the SUL for the gNB-DU. Upon receiving information related to the at least one parameter related to the SUL from the gNB-CU, the gNB-DU may adjust the at least one parameter related to the SUL based on the information related to the at least one parameter related to the SUL.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to random access in mobility in wireless communications. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a method performed by a wireless device comprises: receiving, from a network, skip information for a random access channel (RACH) and information for a revert timer; performing a RACH-less handover to a target cell based on the skip information and starting the revert timer; determining that the RACH-less handover stops while the revert timer is running; and upon an expiry of the revert timer, transmitting a random access preamble with a ramped transmission power, wherein the ramped transmission power is higher than an initial transmission power of the random access preamble.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a radio resource management (RRM) in wireless communications. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a method performed by a wireless device in a wireless communication system comprises: receiving a measurement configuration from a source cell; initiating a dual active protocol stack (DAPS) mobility from the source cell to a target cell; detecting a failure of the DAPS mobility; after detecting the failure of the DAPS mobility: transmitting information for the failure of the DAPS mobility to the source cell; and performing a radio resource management (RRM) measurement on one or more neighbor cells based on the measurement configuration received from the source cell.
