    摘要: A method and apparatus for support of energy efficient operation of a wireless device, e.g., a user equipment (UE), in a 5th generation new radio access technology (5G NR) is provided. A source node acquires information related to power consumption of a wireless device and transmits a message for initiation of handover. The message includes information related to energy efficiency of the wireless device. The information related to energy efficiency is based on the information related to power consumption of the wireless device. The target node performs admission control and/or resource allocation for the wireless device based on the information related to energy efficiency of the wireless device.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for supporting a link congestion detection in a in an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) network is provided. An IAB-donor-central unit (CU) performs downlink (DL) transmission, receives information about a problem on a backhaul (BH)-radio link control (RLC) channel between a first IAB-node and a second IAB-node, and stop/reduces the DL transmission to the second IAB-node via the BH-RLC channel between the first IAB-node and the second IAB-node based on the information. The IAB-donor-CU may select a path towards the second IAB-node other than the BH-RLC channel between the first IAB-node and the second IAB-node, and perform DL transmission towards the second IAB-node via the selected path.

    摘要: A new cell specific procedure and/or a mobility procedure may be defined to more efficiently support a network slice function in new radio access technology (NR), which is a part of a 5G communication system. In terms of a radio access network (RAN)—RAN interface, the cell specific procedure comprises that a first RAN node transmits a first indicator related with the slice support of the first RAN node to a second RAN node, and receives from the second RAN node a second indicator related with the slice support of the first RAN node. The mobility procedure comprises that a target RAN node transmits a path change request message including slice-related information to a core network (CN) node, and receives from the CN node a path change response message including at least one of a common control plane function (C-CPF) identifier (ID), a finally selected slice-related ID or U-Plane information.

When a master node (MN) belonging to a first radio access technology takes role of signaling to a wireless device in multi-RAT dual connectivity (MR-DC) option 3/7, the MN receives authorization information on a second RAT for the wireless device from a core network node, and transmits a request for a radio resource of the second RAT to a secondary node (SN) belonging to the second RAT. The request includes the authorization information on the second RAT for the wireless device. Upon receiving information on the radio resource from the SN, the MN transmits a message to the wireless device based on the information on the radio resource.

A new gNB, which is a radio access network (RAN) node to which a wireless device attempts a connection resume procedure while in an inactive state, receives an anchor kept indication and/or a small data indication from a last serving gNB. The anchor kept indication indicates that the last serving gNB keeps a user equipment (UE) context and/or a UE-associated NG connection with the core network. The small data indication indicates not relocating a UE context from the last serving gNB to the new gNB.
