    摘要: A multi-functional copying machine according to the invention has a scanner for reading the image of a document and image information appended to the document and a printer for forming the image on a medium. It compares the image read by the scanner and the image information, determines according to the extent of alteration of the image whether or not reproduction of the image of the document as it is can be permitted and, if permitted, produces a copy from the reproduced image of the document. If reproduction is forbidden of the image of the document as it is, whether or not to permit restoration of the scanner-read image according to the image information is determined and, if permitted, a copy is produced from the restored image. This makes it possible to keep track of any alteration in a copyrighted image by quick processing, prevent altered copyrighted images from circulation, and protect copyrighted images appropriately.

    摘要: When a sheet bundle formed on a processing tray descends in a sheet bundle conveying path by a sheet bundle conveying mechanism while a front edge of the sheet bundle is nipped, a band sheet is circled to a front edge side and overlaid to front and back surfaces. The band sheet is perforated at a plurality of positions by a cutter and, thereafter, cut to a necessary length. Both edges of the band sheet are stapled integratedly with the sheet bundle by a stapler main body also serving as a stapling of the sheet bundle. If the band sheet is not torn at the perforation, its contents cannot be browsed. Therefore, security holding performance of the sheet bundle is raised.

    摘要: There is provided an imaging device which is small in light loss, is operable to suppress an occurrence of a stray light, and is operable to provide an image with a high quality as far as a periphery thereof. The imaging device operable to output an image of an object as an electrical image signal, comprising: a solid-state imaging sensor including pixels which are two dimensionally arranged on a first flat surface and each of which has a photo-electric conversion function; and a lens array including micro lenses two dimensionally arranged on a second flat surface separately provided so as to be parallel to the first flat surface, in which the solid-state imaging sensor includes an imaging area of unit including a plurality of pixels, and each of the micro lenses forms an optical image of the object on a corresponding imaging area of unit and satisfies a predetermined condition, arctan(L/f)≦θ, for a pixel, from among pixels included in an imaging area of unit corresponding to each micro lens, positioned farthest from an optical axis of a corresponding micro lens. Here, θ is a maximum angle of an incident light capable of entering a pixel, f is a focal length of a micro lens, and L is a diameter of a circle circumscribing an imaging area of unit corresponding to one of the micro lenses.

    摘要: A sheet processing apparatus includes an aligning member and a shift conveying unit. The aligning member is movable in a width direction perpendicular to a sheet conveying direction and presses a sheet stack loaded on a sheet processing tray so as to align the sheet stack in the width direction. The unit is provided on the upstream side of the tray and conveys a sheet, shifting the sheet in the width direction. Being shifted by the unit, sheets are loaded at first and second loading positions on the tray. When sheets are loaded at the first loading position, the aligning member is moved to a first standby position corresponding to the first loading position in advance. When sheets are loaded at the second loading position, the aligning member is moved in advance to a second standby position corresponding to the second loading position.

    摘要: A folded back portion flattening device includes a gripper and a presser. The gripper grips a sheet bundle formed into a booklet with the folded back portion protruding from the gripper. The presser presses the folded back portion of the sheet bundle gripped by the gripper, and includes pressing rollers which have pressing rotational surfaces and which are disposed along the folded back portion. The pressing rotational surfaces press the folded back portion. The pressing rollers are disposed so that the rotational pressing surface of a second pressing roller, which presses the folded back portion after the rotational pressing surface of a first pressing roller has pressed the folded back portion, presses deeper into an edge of the sheet bundle than the rotational pressing surface of the first pressing roller. At least one of the gripper and presser is movable in a direction parallel to the folded back portion.
