    摘要: A constrained prosthetic knee having a modular hinge post and a rotating bearing. A cannulated hinge post is rotatably connected to the femoral component of the knee prosthesis so that a hinge post extension may be anteriorly positioned through the hinge post and into the tibial component of the knee prosthesis, after positioning of the femoral component in the femur and the tibial component in the tibia. The hinge post is preassembled to the femoral component so that such assembly is not required during the implantation procedure. A meniscal component forming the rotating bearing of the knee prosthesis is packaged together with the hinge post extension so that the appropriate hinge post extension is readily available. The meniscal component includes a mechanism for preventing lift off of the meniscal component from the tibial component, while allowing rotation of the meniscal component relative to the tibial component.

    摘要: An ink tank comprises a housing that defines a container for ink that is substantially free from a negative pressure producing material. In various embodiments, a non-porous capillary member is disposed in the container. The capillary member may be formed by part of the housing, for example, by a channel formed in a side wall of the housing. Alternatively, the capillary member may be a capillary tube. A wick may be situated at an outlet formed in the housing and may be held there by a retaining member, for example, a rib that extends from the housing. The housing may include a cover that allows the container to vent to atmosphere. The cover may include a vent hole that communicates with the container via a tortuous path. Part of the cover may comprise an air permeable material. The housing may also define a spillover area outside of the container.

    摘要: The method begins with an oil which in one embodiment is cannabis crude oil derived from a cannabis plant. Oil is placed within a container having an open upper portion and with the oil preferably only filling up less than half of a volume of the container. The container and oil therein are placed within a vacuum oven where the oil is heated over time to a preselected temperature. A vacuum is then drawn on the oil while it is within the oven. Initial vacuum application is carefully applied to avoid the oil boiling over and out of the container. Vacuum residence time continues for a preselected duration, while gaseous terpenes are drawn from the oven toward the source of vacuum, such as a vacuum pump, by way of a cold trap/condenser. This cold trap is sufficiently cold that terpenes are condensed into a liquid form and collected therein.
