摘要: The present invention discloses a method and device for reestablishment at packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) layer. On the receiving side of the PDCP layer, the method comprises: clearing resident control messages (501); processing resident service messages, and clearing feedback information generated during processing (502); and resetting a decompressor, and updating configuration of a decryption module (503). On the transmitting side of the PDCP layer, the method comprises: resetting a compressor, and updating configuration of an encryption module; clearing the resident control messages; and reprocessing the resident service messages. With the differentiated processing for the resident messages at the PDCP layer during the reestablishment, the present invention can avoid the abnormal mode switching of the compressor, and accelerate the user plane restoration after the reestablishment. The present invention can further avoid the transmission of invalid feedback, thus improving the utilization of air interface resources; meanwhile, by avoiding the influence of the invalid status report on uplink and downlink transmission policies, the present invention can reduce retransmission of the service messages, thus improving the utilization of air interface resources.

摘要: System and method for driving one or more cold-cathode fluorescent lamps. For example, the method includes generating at least one drive signal associated with a signal frequency, the signal frequency being equal to a first predetermined frequency, receiving a current-sensing signal, the current-sensing signal being associated with a lamp current for the one or more cold-cathode fluorescent lamps in response to at least the first predetermined frequency, and determining whether the current-sensing signal is larger than a first threshold in magnitude, the current-sensing signal being related to the first predetermined frequency. Additionally, the method includes, if the current-sensing signal related to the first predetermined frequency is determined to be larger than the first threshold in magnitude at anytime during a first period of time, changing the signal frequency from the first predetermined frequency to a second predetermined frequency, the second predetermined frequency being different from the first predetermined frequency.

摘要: System and method for generating one or more ramp signals. The method includes an oscillator configured to generate at least a clock signal, and a ramp signal generator configured to receive at least the clock signal and generate a first ramp signal. Additionally, the ramp signal generator is coupled to a first resistor including a first terminal and a second terminal. The first resistor is configured to receive an input voltage at the first terminal and is coupled to the ramp signal generator at the second terminal. Moreover, the first resistor is associated with a first resistance value. Also, the clock signal is associated with at least a predetermined frequency. The predetermined frequency does not change if the input voltage changes from a first magnitude to a second magnitude. The first magnitude is different from the second magnitude.

摘要: A multimedia intelligent business card system allows multimedia and Web content to be stored on a smart card. The invention automatically and selectively translates each file, URL, or file references as they should be when the contents of the smart card are read. The invention waits for a smart card to be inserted into a smart card reader attached to or resident in the host computer and intelligently distinguishes between a multimedia, Web-enabled, or combination smart card. A multimedia file/mp3 file/playlist or URL address is accessed from the smart card. The multimedia player required to play the accessed file/playlist or the browser required to display the accessed URL is determined and the accessed file/playlist is sent to the multimedia player and played to the user or the accessed URLA is sent to the browser and the Website is displayed to the user. The invention enables multiple auto play from multimedia files/MP3 playlist and multiple automatic connection with multiple URLs. A hotkey is defined on the host computer, for example, . If the user presses the hotkey during playback, then the invention will access the smart card for the next file, mp3 file in the playlist, or URL, if it exists.

摘要: A smart card security information configuration and recovery system provides a secure Web site and server that allows smart card users to easily create and obtain smart cards and passwords. The client program accesses the smart card inserted into the client computer and retrieves the smart card's ID and other user and system information and sends them to the server which creates an access key. The access key and the smart card ID are stored in the client computer's CMOS or non-volatile memory for boot-up access. The client computer will boot only if the proper smart card is installed or the proper access key is entered when the smart card is unavailable. If the user loses his smart card, then he must gain access to his computer through the access key which the server issues after the user logs in. When the user wants to get a new smart card issued, he logs onto the server which is sent the new smart card's ID that replaces the previous smart card's ID and the server generates a new access key and stores it. The new access key and the smart card's ID are stored in the client computer's CMOS or non-volatile memory for boot access.
