摘要： A developing cartridge is attachable to and detachable from an image forming apparatus and is received by a developing cartridge receiving member. The developing cartridge includes: a developer carrier including a rotational shaft; a case that rotatably supports the developer carrier, the case being capable of being supported by the developing cartridge receiving member; and a conductive member electrically connected to the rotational shaft of the developer carrier, at least a part of the conductive member is positioned at an opposite side of the case to the developing cartridge receiving member in a substantially vertical direction.

摘要： Disclosed is the invention in connection with an electric sewing machine comprising a machine body 1 and a controller 2, wherein the controller 2 is responsive to a first press to produce a signal for starting the machine body 1 and is responsive to further press to produce a signal for driving the machine body 1 at a stitching speed (drive speed) in accordance with the pressing amount. The machine body 1 is provided with a control device 11 which is connected to a changing device 30 which is operated to change the control content of the control device 11. The changing device 30 may be operated to switch the control device 11 between being operative and being inoperative. In case the control device 11 is switched to being inoperative, the control device 11 neglects the instruction signal from the controller 2, for example, produces a stop signal to a motor drive device 12 in response to a machine drive signal from the controller 2, thereby to maintain the machine motor as stopped. Therefore, if the changing device 30 is selectively operated beforehand to switch the controller 11 to being inoperative, the machine body 1 will not driven in response to the instruction signal from the controller 11 which may be wrong operated. Thus the safety may be secured.

摘要： The toner supply roller 31 includes a roller shaft 31A made of metal, an inner spongy member 31B formed around the roller shaft 31A, and an outer spongy member 31C formed around the inner spongy member 31B. 摘要： A process for preparing an optically active mercapto compound having asymmetrical centers having the formula: ##STR1## in which R.sub.1 represents an alkyl group, R represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, C* represents an asymmetric carbon, n represents the value of 1 or 2, is disclosed. The process involves the reaction of a cultured microorganism having the ability of asymmetrically hydrolyzing ester bonds of the raw material, thus eliminating the need for protecting free mercapto groups which are unstable in the reaction conditions. The optically active mercapto compound is useful as a raw material for producing a compound having medicinal effects such as antihypertensive activity.

The cartridge also includes a rotational body which includes a second engaging portion, and a center axis of the rotational body is aligned with a center axis of the engagement gear. Moreover, the cartridge includes an extension portion which is positioned offset from a center of rotation of the rotational body. The engagement gear and the rotational body are configured to selectively be positioned in one of a first state in which the second engaging portion and the first engaging portion are separated from each other, and a second state in which the second engaging portion engages the first engaging portion. The rotational body is configured to rotate with the engagement gear when the engagement gear rotates and the engagement gear and the rotational body are in the second state.
