There is provided a surface abnormality detection device, and a system, capable of detecting an abnormal portion having a displacement below the distance measurement accuracy when detecting the abnormal portion on the surface of a structure. A surface abnormality detection device includes a classification means for classifying an object under measurement into one or more clusters having the same structure, based on position information at a plurality of points on a surface of the object under measurement; a determination means for determining a reflection brightness normal value of the cluster based on a distribution of reflection brightness values at a plurality of points on a surface of the cluster; and an identification means for identifying an abnormal portion on the surface of the cluster based on a difference between the reflection brightness normal value and the reflection brightness value at each of the plurality of points.

An object is to provide a detection apparatus, a determination method, and a program capable of distinguishing a natural object from a structure and thereby detecting the natural object. A detection apparatus (10) according to the present disclosure includes a calculation unit (11) configured to calculate a normal vector for each point included in point-group data indicating a distance to an object to be determined by using the point-group data, and a determination unit (12) configured to determine whether the object to be determined is a natural object or not by using a distribution state of at least either horizontal components of the normal vectors or vertical components thereof.

A packet processing device is connected as a route of a plurality of I/O devices and configures a PCIe fabric. The packet processing device includes a plurality of first request processing units and a second request processing unit that process a PCIe packet issuing request to the I/O device; and a first selecting unit that selects the plurality of first request processing units or the second request processing unit, based on a request classification of the PCIe packet issuing request, and a load exerted on the PCIe fabric by a packet to be transmitted to the I/O device. The first selecting unit includes a first determining unit that determines whether the PCIe packet issuing request is possible to pass another PCIe packet issuing request being processed by the first request processing unit, based on a transaction identifier included in the PCIe packet issuing request.

A communication system, comprises: a first network switch that transmits to a network controller a control message containing ancillary data; the network controller that retrieves the ancillary data from the control message containing the ancillary data, holds the ancillary data, and transmits to a second network switch a control message containing the ancillary data; and the second network switch that receives the control message containing the ancillary data from the network controller, retrieves a packet to be outputted and the ancillary data, and forwards the packet and the ancillary data to a specified destination.
