    Abstract: According to an example embodiment, a client device comprises at least one processor; and at least one memory including computer program code. The at least one memory and the computer program code may be configured to, with the at least ne processor, cause the client device to: detect need for random access, random access, in a non-terrestrial network to a target cell of the non-terrestrial network; identify whether the needed random access is intra-satellite or inter-satellite; in response to the needed random access being intra-satellite, perform a first random access procedure, wherein, in the first random access procedure, the client device transmits a random access preamble and a payload data in a single message; and in response to the needed random access being inter-satellite, perform a second random access procedure wherein, in the second random access procedure, the client device transmits a random access preamble and a payload data in separate messages. A client device, a network node device, methods and computer program products are disclosed.

    Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a solution for handling positioning measurement. In this solution, a first apparatus may determine a relationship between a completion time of a positioning measurement and an availability time of a serving cell of the first apparatus, or a first time length of a duration for performing the positioning measurement and a second time length of a validity duration of an uplink synchronization parameter in the serving cell. Then based on the determined relationship, the mobility activities may be processed properly.

    Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to methods, devices, apparatuses and computer readable storage medium for cell reselection requirements with satellite prioritization. The method includes determining at least one first candidate satellite currently available for a neighbor cell measurement; determining at least one target satellite to be measured in the neighbor cell measurement at least based on the number of the at least one first candidate satellite and respective priorities of the at least one first candidate satellite, or at least one second candidate satellite that is becoming available within a first time interval; and performing the neighbor cell measurement on the at least one target satellite.
