Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to methods, devices, apparatuses and computer readable storage medium for cell reselection requirements with satellite prioritization. The method includes determining at least one first candidate satellite currently available for a neighbor cell measurement; determining at least one target satellite to be measured in the neighbor cell measurement at least based on the number of the at least one first candidate satellite and respective priorities of the at least one first candidate satellite, or at least one second candidate satellite that is becoming available within a first time interval; and performing the neighbor cell measurement on the at least one target satellite.

Abstract: A method is provided that includes scheduling transmission of system information blocks (SIBs) including information elements with assistance information for a first aerospace platform, and a separate at least one information element with assistance information for a second aerospace platform. The first aerospace platform and the second aerospace platform are configured to provide respectively a first non-terrestrial network (NTN) cell and a second NTN cell that are quasi-Earth-fixed cells serving a geographic area for limited periods of time. The method also includes causing a user equipment in the first NTN cell to acquire the separate at least one information element with the assistance information for the second aerospace platform, during a period of time the geographic area is served by the first NTN cell, before the geographic area is served by the second NTN cell.

Abstract: Common delay(s) are set for a base station, the base station and a UE able to communicate via signals and to use the common delay(s) in communication. The common delay(s) correspond to delay in communication of the signals in a path from a simulated satellite to a reference point, which is a point selected between the base station and the simulated satellite. The UE is placed in a known location. Ephemeris values are set for the base station for the simulated satellite and caused to be broadcasted toward the UE. The ephemeris values represent positioning of the simulated satellite through which the signals are supposed to travel. In response to communication over the path by the UE, error is determined corresponding to at least timing at least between the UE and the reference point.
