摘要： A casing unitarily housing the photosensitive drum and developing device of a xerographic imaging system such that the thus composed imaging unit is retained in a predetermined operational position removably installed into a printing machine. The casing is configured such that when the imaging unit is removed from the printing machine, the imaging unit is retained in a posture equivalent to the predetermined operational orientation. Toner and developing agents are thus held in a steady state within the imaging unit, which particularly is an imaging unit in a lateral-transfer, vertical sheet-transport xerographic printing machine.

摘要： A toner transportation device includes a toner case and a drive section. The toner case includes a main body containing toner, and an agitating unit rotatably mounted in the main body that agitates the toner. The drive section includes a driving unit driving the agitating unit, a detection unit detecting a driving unit driving state, and a control unit able to transmit a drive instruction signal to the driving unit and receive a detection signal regarding the driving unit driving state from the detection unit. The control unit determines whether the toner case is in an overload state in accordance with a detection signal reception state. The control unit performs a retry control, causing the driving unit to repeatedly rotate the agitating unit forward and backward when the control unit determines that the toner case is in an overload state.

摘要： A toner transportation device includes a toner case and a drive section. The toner case includes a main body that contains toner, a discharge port located in the main body and allowing toner to pass therethrough, and a transportation unit rotatably positioned in the main body for transporting the toner toward the discharge port. The drive section includes a driving unit that drives the transportation unit, a detection unit that detects rotation of the transportation unit and outputs a rotation number detection signal, and a control unit that estimates an amount of toner remaining in the toner case based on an accumulated number of times the rotation number detection signal has been outputted from the detection unit.

The insulating sheet forms a clamp protruding outward beyond the circuit board, and the harnesses are engaged with a protruding piece.

摘要： A cleaner for cleaning the nozzle portion of a powder filling apparatus for filling a container with powder by equally evacuating the inside and the outside of the container, and dropping powder through the nozzle portion into the container simultaneously with raising the pressure outside the container is provided. The cleaner includes a cleaning head having a cleaning chamber therein for enclosing the nozzle portion airtightly when the cleaning head is fitted to the nozzle portion; a gas passage disposed in the cleaner head for allowing compressed air to flow therethrough so as to spurt the compressed air to the nozzle portion; and an exhaust passage for allowing powder flowing down in the cleaning chamber together with the compressed air spurted to the nozzle portion to be discharged together with the compressed air.
