摘要: A method and apparatus for processing three-dimensional video signals representing a solid subject comprises, radiating the subject, receiving radiation from the subject with receptors on three axes intersecting the subject to produce three planar images of the subject volume normal to the three respective radiation axes. The picture elements of the three planar images are converted into three corresponding sets of planar video pixel signals which are converted into voxels and written at the three radiation axes into superimposition in a three dimensional storage matrix such that coincidence of three pixels in the three respective images stores a single voxel representative of the superposition of the three pixels. The voxels in the matrix can then be addressed by a view selector at an angle other than the three original radiation axes to read the selected two dimensional view out of the matrix to a display or recorder.

摘要: A method (200) for a controlling node of a cell (110) in a cellular system, the method comprising (205) the use of Radio Link Control Acknowledged Mode, RLC AM, and scheduling (210) transmissions in the downlink and uplink directions to/from User Equipments, UEs (115, 120, 125), in the cell (110). The scheduling comprises taking into account a priority which each UE has for its transmissions, and counting (215) the number of scheduled transmissions for a UE in a first of said directions since its latest scheduled transmission in the other of said directions. If (220) the count has reached a predetermined value, the priority of the UE in the other of said directions is increased (225), and when (230) the UE has been scheduled for a transmission in said other direction, the counting in said first direction is restarted (235) from an initial value.

摘要: Embodiments herein relate to a method in a radio base station (12) for scheduling a radio resource to a first user equipment (10). The radio base station (12) is comprised in a radio communications network and controls a number of radio resources to be scheduled for communication to a number of user equipments (10,11). The number of user equipments comprises the first user equipment (10) and being served by the radio base station (12). The scheduling is based on channel quality of channels used by the respective user equipments. The radio base station (12) estimates a first channel quality of a channel used by the first user equipment (10). The radio base station determines a pathloss between the first user equipment (10) and the radio base station (12), and computes a second channel quality of the channel based on the estimated first channel quality and the determined pathloss. The radio base station (12) then schedules a radio resource out of the number of radio resources to the first user equipment (10) based on the second channel quality.

摘要: A method and an apparatus are disclosed for extending the service life of a battery source by fully utilizing the energy in batteries and/or providing higher energy reserve using multiple batteries. An universal battery bank consists of an ensemble of possibly heterogenous batteries all connected in series to provide a usable operational energy source. For a universal battery bank consists on N batteries, the minimum operational voltage for the individual batteries (Vmin) can be lowered to Vmin/N on average, thereby extending the time interval between battery replacements and draining the individual batteries more efficiently. To exploit this power supply that may vary over a wide voltage range, electronics are designed to monitor the individual batteries, guard against excessive voltage and current, and provide constant current sources and/or constant voltage sources for various appliances.
