Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating sidelink resource pool activation and deactivation for sidelink communication are disclosed herein. An example method for wireless communication at a first sidelink device includes identifying a configuration of a bandwidth part (BWP) for sidelink communication. In some examples, the BWP may comprise at least a first resource pool including a first subset of frequency resources and a second resource pool including a second subset of frequency resources. The example method also includes receiving an activation indication activating the second subset of frequency resources of the second resource pool. Additionally, the example method includes activating the second subset of frequency resources of the second resource pool based on the activation indication.

The UE may transmit, to the second UE, sidelink hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) feedback using a sidelink component carrier based at least in part on the communication received from the second UE, wherein the sidelink component carrier is associated with conveying the sidelink HARQ-ACK feedback when sidelink carrier aggregation is configured for a group of UEs that includes the first UE and the second UE. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for indicating transmit power control information to a user equipment (UE) for semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) transmissions in short transmission time intervals (TTIs) from the UE, and for configuring reference signal transmissions in SPS transmissions of short TTIs. A UE may be configured with uplink power control information for SPS transmissions that use sTTIs that is separate from uplink power control for longer TTIs. A UE may receive the power control information and apply it in SPS transmissions that use sTTIs. Uplink transmit power for SPS sTTI transmissions may be independent of power control for regular sTTI transmissions and independent of power control for long TTI transmissions. UEs may apply a cyclic shift to reference signals transmitted is SPS transmissions according to a SPS configuration, rather than a cyclic shift indicated in a SPS activation command.

In some aspects, a mobile station may receive a configuration that indicates a number of nominal repetitions associated with an uplink repetition type that does not permit uplink transmission occasions to cross a slot boundary and that permits only one uplink transmission occasion per slot. The mobile station may transmit an actual repetition of the uplink repetition type in a transmission occasion based at least in part on a determination that the transmission occasion has resources available for the actual repetition, wherein the transmission occasion is a slot. The mobile station may terminate transmission of actual repetitions of the uplink repetition type when a number of actual repetitions equals the number of nominal repetitions. Abstract: Aspects are provided which allow a UE to defer HARQ-ACK reporting in PUCCH transmissions according to a configured HARQ-ACK codebook. In one aspect, the UE receives, from a base station, information triggering feedback for DL HARQ processes of the UE, the UE receives a RRC message configuring the feedback to be for less than all of the DL HARQ processes, and the UE reports the feedback based on the information and the RRC message. In another aspect, the UE reports feedback including a plurality of HARQ-ACK bits in a PUCCH, where each of the HARQ-ACK bits is associated with DL data, and at least one of the DL data is associated with a cancelled PUCCH transmission. The UE may also append to the feedback a HARQ-ACK bit associated with other DL data, where the other data is associated with another cancelled PUCCH transmission.

Abstract: Aspects presented herein may improve the efficiency and/or the performance of a beacon-echo procedure between sidelink UEs. In one aspect, an apparatus receives, from a base station, at least one of a beacon power level or an echo power level for a beacon-echo procedure. The apparatus transmits, to a second UE, a beacon RS based on the beacon power level. The apparatus receives, from the second UE, an echo RS based on the beacon RS. The apparatus transmits a PSSCH using one or more parameters determined based at least in part on the echo RS.
