Abstract: A device for coding video data may determine whether a switchable interpolation filter (SIF) index value of a first motion vector (MV) component of a pairwise average motion vector predictor (MVP) is equal to a SIF index value of a second MV component of the pairwise average MVP. Based on the SIF index value of the first MV component being equal to the SIF index value of the second MV component, the device may set the SIF index of the pairwise average MVP to be equal to the SIF index of the first MV component. The device may code the video data based on the SIF index value of the pairwise average MVP.

In one instance, the UE starts a reselection timer for reselecting to a neighbor cell when a signal quality of a serving cell is determined to fall below a first threshold. The UE then expedites reselecting to the neighbor cell based on a difference between the signal quality of the serving cell and the signal quality of the neighbor cell when the signal quality of the serving cell falls below a second threshold.

An example method includes determining to decode a current block of the video data using a merge mode. The example method includes obtaining a flag from a bitstream. The example method includes determining, based on a value of the flag, to use a second merge list of two merge lists for the current block, wherein the second merge list is based on a first merge list of the two merge lists. The example method includes decoding the current block based on the second merge list.

Abstract: A video decoder can be configured to determine that a current block in a current picture of the video data is coded in an affine prediction mode; determine one or more control-point motion vectors (CPMVs) for the current block; identify an initial prediction block for the current block in a reference picture using the one or more CPMVs; determine a current template for the current block in the current picture; and determine an initial reference template for the initial prediction block in the reference picture; and perform a motion vector refinement process to determine a modified prediction block based on a comparison of the current template to the initial reference template.

Abstract: An example device for processing video data includes memory configured to store the video data and one or more processors coupled to the memory. The one or more processors are configured to adjust a chroma dynamic range adjustment (DRA) scale value based on a luma DRA scale value and determine a chroma quantization parameter (QP) based on the luma adjusted chroma DRA scale value, wherein the chroma QP comprises an integer component and a fractional component. The one or more processors are configured to determine an integer chroma QP offset based on the integer component and determine a fractional chroma QP offset based on the fractional component. The one or more processors are configured to determine a DRA chroma scale adjustment value based on the integer chroma QP offset and the fractional chroma QP offset and process the video data based on the DRA chroma scale adjustment value.
