Abstract: A pixel and a display device including the same are disclosed. The pixel includes a light emitting element, first through seventh transistors, and a first capacitor. The first transistor is connected between first and second nodes. The second transistor is connected between a data line and a fourth node and configured to be turned on by a first scan signal. The third transistor is connected between the first node and a third node and configured to be turned on by a second scan signal. The fourth transistor is connected between the fourth node and a third power line and configured to be turned on by a third scan signal. The fifth transistor is connected between the third node and the third power line and configured to be turned on by a fourth scan signal. The sixth transistor is connected between the first node and a fifth node and configured to be turned off by an emission control signal. The seventh transistor is connected between the second node and the second power line and configured to be turned off in response to the emission control signal. The first capacitor is connected between the third and fourth nodes.

Abstract: A display device may include a plurality of pixels each including a light emitting element. A first scan line and a second scan line, are disposed in each of the pixels. A data line is disposed in each of the pixels. A power line is disposed in each of the pixels. A reference voltage line is disposed in each of the pixels. A first transistor controls a current of the light emitting element. A second transistor is connected between the data line and a first gate electrode of the first transistor. A third transistor is connected between the reference voltage line and a first electrode of the first transistor. A fourth transistor is connected between the power line and a second electrode of the first transistor. The fourth transistor may be a transistor of a type different from that of the first to third transistors.

Abstract: A method of testing a display panel including a pixel coupled to first, second, and third power lines, a data line, scan lines, an emission control line, and a test line, the method includes: applying a first power supply voltage to the first power line; applying a test voltage having a turn-on voltage level to the second power line; applying a scan signal having a turn-on voltage level sequentially to the scan lines and an emission control signal having a turn-on voltage level to the emission control line; applying a gate signal to the test line to turn on a test transistor coupled between two electrode of a light emitting element included in the pixel; measuring a sensing voltage output through the data line; and determining whether the pixel is defective, based on a voltage level of the measured sensing voltage.
