    Abstract: A method for managing a wireless communication between user equipment (UE) by a UE in a communication system, the method comprising: receiving, from a base station (BS), a first signalling message to configure a report of assistance information for the wireless communication related to a vehicular service; transmitting, to the BS, the assistance information based on the first signalling message, wherein the assistance information comprises at least one of a period and timing offset of a data arrival and a data size; receiving, from the BS, a second signalling message comprising at least two semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configurations for the wireless communication based on the assistance information; and performing the wireless communication with radio resources corresponding to the at least two semi-persistent SPS.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods and systems for allocation of contention based data transmission (CBDT) resource blocks in a non-terrestrial network. The method comprises: determining if the CBDT resource blocks are to be configured for allocation to a plurality of user equipments (UEs) based on at least one of a plurality of parameters. The method comprises determining if a fixed number of CBDT resource blocks from the CBDT resource blocks are to be used for the allocation based on the determination using at least one of the plurality of parameters. The method comprises allocating a number of CBDT resource blocks in one of a fixed manner or a dynamic manner, wherein the number of CBDT resource blocks are allocated in the fixed manner, based on the fixed numbers of CBDT resource blocks being used for the allocation, and the number of CBDT resource blocks are allocated in the dynamic manner, based on the fixed numbers of CBDT resource blocks not being used for the allocation.

    Abstract: A design and architecture for a Multi-Radio Multi-Connectivity (MR-MC) network system is provided. The method includes providing and defining a role of a Master Node (MN), a Secondary Node (SN), a Cloud/Centralized Radio Access Network (C-RAN), a Control Plane (CP) and a User Plane (UP) in the MR-MC network system. Furthermore, the method includes determining a capability of a UE in the MR-MC network system. Furthermore, the method includes determining Radio Access Technology (RAT) measurements associated with the MN, an SN1, and an SN2 in the MR-MC network system. Furthermore, the method includes configuring functionalities of the MN, an SN1, and an SN2 based on the capability of the UE and the RAT measurements. Furthermore, the method includes sending an activation/deactivation command for the SN in the MR-MC network system.

    Abstract: Embodiments herein provide a method for handling a user plane by a UE configured for dual connectivity operation. The method includes receiving a RRC reconfiguration message including one or more Layer 2 indications and a Layer 2 configuration corresponding to one or more radio bearers from one of a MN and a SN involved in a dual connectivity operation of the UE. Further, the method includes performing, by the UE, one of: reestablishing of a RLC entity and a data recovery procedure for a PDCP entity corresponding to the radio bearer based on the one or more Layer 2 indications and the Layer 2 configuration received in the RRC reconfiguration message, and reestablishing of a RLC entity and reestablishing of a PDCP entity corresponding to the radio bearer based on the one or more Layer 2 indications and the Layer 2 configuration received in the RRC reconfiguration message.
