Abstract: The various embodiments herein disclose methods and systems for uplink scheduling schemes for low-earth orbit (LEO) satellite based Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN). According to an embodiment, a zone-based scheduling (ZBS) scheme is described where the coverage area may be divided into a plurality of zones and independent scheduling-offsets may be allocated for each of the zones. The ZBS scheme improves upon the overall user latency by reducing the K2 and cell offset delay for low-propagation delay users within the NTN cells. At the same time, the impact of differential doppler may also be mitigated with such a zone-based allocation strategy.

Abstract: A multi Transmission Reception Point (TRP) system is provided. The system includes a User Equipment (UE), a core network, a plurality of cells, and a Transmission Reception Point (TRP) controller (TRP-C). The core network is defined by a Centralized or Cloud Radio Access Network (C-RAN). The plurality of cells where each of which is connected to the UE. Each cell includes at least one TRP of a number of TRPs. The TRP-C is connected to the core network, or cloud network or virtual network and to at least one TRP of the number of TRPs in each cell of the plurality of cell. The TRP-C is configured to determine the number of TRPs required for each cell of the plurality of cells to serve the UE.

Abstract: A method for handling contention based data transmission (CBDT) in a wireless communication network is disclosed. The method includes: allocating CBDT resource blocks to a plurality of user equipment (UEs); receiving data bits and control bits on one or more resource blocks among the allocated CBDT resource blocks from a group of UEs among the plurality of UEs; determining whether each of the received data bits and control bits is decoded successfully; transmitting a negative acknowledgment message to each UE in the group of UEs based on determining that the received control bits are decoded successfully, and the received data-bits are not decoded successfully; and storing the data-bits which are not decoded successfully in a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) buffer.

Abstract: The present subject matter refers methods and systems to determine location for an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The method comprises receiving information from a network entity, the information indicating that the plurality of terrestrial UEs form a cluster, determining whether at least one of a plurality of predefined events is triggered. The method comprises determining the location of the UAV by: receiving cluster information related to the cluster, determining circular trajectory of the cluster using the cluster information, receiving a first average data rate of the cluster at each of a plurality of locations along a circumference of the circular trajectory, determining an optimal down-tilt angle and an optimal bearing angle of an antenna panel of the UAV, and determining the location of the UAV based on the optimal down-tilt angle and the optimal bearing angle.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to wireless communication system and more particularly relates to the design of handover procedures for multi TRP system for a mobile station and other devices. Multi TRP per cell or cell less or cell free architecture removes the boundaries of the cell. A method of handover for a UE in a multi TRP system comprising selecting a set of candidate TRPs for the UE for a handover operation and receiving a measurement report from the UE. The source node determines a trigger for handover of the UE in response to the measurement report and compares a configuration of the source node with a configuration of a candidate TRP from the set of candidate TRPs. The source node triggers a handover command to perform a handover operation for the UE with at least one candidate TRP based on a result of the comparison.
