Abstract: A method of manufacturing an OLED display is disclosed. In one aspect, the method includes providing a donor substrate including a material formed on one surface thereof and heating the material so as to form a barrier thin-film on the donor substrate. The method also includes providing an acceptor substrate and a substrate attached to the acceptor substrate, forming an OLED unit over the substrate, bonding the OLED unit and the barrier thin-film together, and irradiating a laser beam on the barrier thin-film so as to delaminate the donor substrate from the barrier thin-film.

Abstract: A display panel includes a first display area and a second display area. A plurality of base pixel parts are disposed in the second display area, and each base pixel part includes “k” first color light emitting elements. A controller receives image signals, and the image signals include first image signals corresponding to the first display area and second image signals corresponding to the second display area. The second image signals are divided into a plurality of base signal parts respectively corresponding to the plurality of base pixel parts, and each base signal part includes “m*n” first color image signals. The controller generates color image data by rendering “p” color image signals of “m*n” color image signals included in a corresponding base signal part and “(m*n)−p” referenced image signals included in a referenced signal part adjacent to the corresponding base signal part.

Abstract: A display device includes: a display panel including an active area and a peripheral area adjacent to the active area and including a plurality of pixels overlapping the active area and a scan driving circuit overlapping a portion of each of the active area and the peripheral area. The scan driving circuit is configured to drive the plurality of pixels. A sensing sensor is disposed on the display panel and includes first sensing electrodes and second sensing electrodes overlapping the active area and insulated from each other and sensing lines connected to the first sensing electrodes and the second sensing electrodes. The plurality of pixels include: first pixels that do not overlap the scan driving circuit; and second pixels that overlap the scan driving circuit, wherein at least a portion of the sensing lines overlaps the scan driving circuit.

Abstract: A display device includes a display panel, a first protective member, and a second protective member. The display panel includes a front part, a first side part extending from the front part, and a pad portion extending from the first side part. A pad is on the pad portion, the first side part is bent, and each of the front part and the first side part displays an image. The first protective member is below the display panel and overlaps the front part and the first side part. The second protective member is below the display panel, in a same layer as the first protective layer, and overlaps the pad portion. The second protective member has a bending stiffness greater than a bending stiffness of the first protective member.
