Abstract: A display device includes subpixels on a substrate, position code patterns having a predetermined position code shape, when viewed in a plan view, each position code pattern being disposed at a region between at least two adjacent subpixels, and a pixel-defining layer defining a region where each subpixel is disposed and covering the position code patterns. The plurality of position code patterns are formed in a planar code shape and are configured to reflect light incident through the pixel-defining layer.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a smart pen and a display device using the same, in which a reflective light reception rate may be enhanced through a light output structure to increase a code pattern and code information recognition rate of a display panel. According to an embodiment of the disclosure, smart pen comprising a body portion, a pen tip portion formed on one end of the body portion to form a path of light emitted from a light emitting portion in an end direction at one side, a code detector detecting shape data for code patterns by applying light to the pen tip portion and receiving light reflected from a display panel and the pen tip portion, and a code processor generating coordinate data by using the shape data and transmitting the coordinate data to a main processor for driving the display panel.

Abstract: Provided are a touch sensing unit and a display device including the same. The touch sensing unit includes a substrate including glass or a polymer resin, and a sensor electrode layer including sensor electrodes and sensor lines disposed on the substrate and a sensor insulating film configured to cover the sensor electrodes and the sensor lines. The sensor electrodes emit an electromagnetic wave according to transmission signals of the sensor lines.
