    Abstract: According to various embodiments, an electronic device may include: a communication processor, at least one radio frequency integrated circuit (RFIC) connected to the communication processor, and at least one antenna, each of which is connected to the at least one RFIC via at least one radio frequency front-end (RFFE) circuit, and is configured to transmit or receive a signal corresponding to at least one communication network, wherein the communication processor is configured to: identify whether target power corresponding to a primary component carrier (PCC) exceeds maximum transmission power of the electronic device while performing uplink carrier aggregation (CA), and based on identifying that the target power corresponding to the PCC exceeds the maximum transmission power, set a first transmission power of the PCC to a first power less than the maximum transmission power and set a second transmission power of at least one secondary component carrier (SCC) to a second power less than the first power, based on a first spectral efficiency corresponding to the first transmission power of the PCC and a second spectral efficiency corresponding to the second transmission power of the at least one SCC.

    Abstract: Various embodiments provide an electronic device and an operation method thereof, the electronic device comprising: a first communication circuit configured to support first cellular communication; a second communication circuit configured to support second cellular communication; and a processor, wherein the processor is configured to: control the electronic device to receive a radio resource control (RRC) reconfiguration message including information related to a measurement object, in a state in which quality measurement of the second cellular communication is restricted, identify whether the information related to the measurement object comprises information related to a standalone mode of the second cellular communication, determine whether to perform quality measurement using a frequency band corresponding to the standalone mode, based on a result of the identification, and determine whether to transmit a result of the quality measurement, based on a result of the quality measurement.

    Abstract: The disclosure relates to a communication scheme and system for converging a 5th generation (5G) communication system for supporting a data rate higher than that of a 4th generation (4G) system with an internet of things (IoT) technology. The disclosure is applicable to intelligent services (e.g., smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car or connected car, health care, digital education, retail, and security and safety-related services) based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT-related technology. An operation method of a terminal for receiving data from multiple Transmission and Reception Points (TRPs) participated in non-coherent joint transmission is disclosed. The method includes receiving information on HARQ-ACK codebook configuration and configuring and transmitting HARQ-ACK codebooks corresponding to the multiple TRPs based on the received information.
