    摘要: A method for forming a hydroxyapatite coating film on a substrate which comprises coating a dispersion of flocculated colloids of hydroxyapatite on a substrate and drying. The coating method of this invention does not require heating of the coated substrate to high temperature and hence can also be applied to a substrate which is easily deteriorated with heat. The coated substrate of this invention has excellent strength and adhesion force and is useful in a variety of fields, particularly as an implant and as a material, adsorbing and separating agent.

Further, a local mirror operation at a secondary site is not carried out. Furthermore, from the viewpoint of operation, by a log apply function unit, the tendencies of a log application and operations are monitored, and a search process is accepted according to the progress conditions of the log application. When the log application does not catch up sufficiently, the search is not accepted. Moreover, when a consistency guarantee of a secondary DB is made, not transactions in process at the moment of search instruction are undone (rolled back), but only transactions in process at the moment of a search instruction are redone (rolled forward).

    摘要: A method for duplicating transactions in a disaster recover system is disclosed. In this method, transactions and queries input to a primary database system are copied to a secondary database system and both database systems execute the queries and save the results permanently to each database, thereby maintaining duplicated data. When executing a query on the primary database system, if the query is a commit, the primary system simultaneously copies uncopied queries placed in a queue to the secondary database system and then executes the query. By using this processing procedure, the invention realizes a disaster recovery system which carries out copying transactions from one site to another site without losing the transactions, while reducing the influence of copy operation on the transaction processing performance.

    摘要: In order to realize a practical data warehouse system with the use of a network in a distributed environment, for example, data collectors for creating/managing each replica of server data for clients shown in FIG. 1 are connected to a network. A data collector holds a data request condition given from a user via a client and negotiates with a server which supplies data according to such resources as a storage unit, a CPU, etc., usable by the data collector, thereby the range and quality of the data for which a replica is to be created can be adjusted. For query processing, a part or the whole of a query from a client is processed with the use of a replica created in the data collector. Queries which cannot be processed with any replica in the data collector are transferred to the server. Because a replica created in the data collector can be used to process a query from a client in such a way, the server load can be reduced.
