The belt may include a guide member formed on a surface of the belt to prevent a belt from meandering off of the track, where the guide member may include a rubber sheet and a carbon black material having a primer particle diameter ranging from about 15 nm to about 35 nm. An image forming apparatus incorporating the belt with one or more guide members has an increased resistance to abrasion and mitigates belt meandering and image contamination.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for reducing power consumption in a display area of an electronic device such as a portable computer are provided. Such a method includes: (a) activating a mode of setting the display area to a white background screen using a first input command of a user; and (b) locating the white background screen over all windows, except for a current task window being displayed in part of the display area. Additionally, the apparatus for reducing power consumption in a display area includes an input unit receiving a first input command from a user; a mode activation unit for activating a mode of setting the display area to a white background screen according to a first input command from a user; and a location setting unit for locating the white background screen over all windows, except for a current task window being displayed in part of the display area. As a result, the lifetime of a battery of a portable computer is maximized by reducing power consumption in the portion of a display area that is not being used by a user.

The cleaning unit includes a cleaning blade that contacts an outer circumference of an object to be cleaned with a predetermined pressure, and thus removes material remaining on the outer circumference of the object while the object is rotating. A bracket is connected to one side of the cleaning blade and supports the cleaning blade. A support frame is connected to the other side of the cleaning blade (that is, a side opposite to the side where the bracket is connected), and is placed close to the object to be clean. The support frame prevents the cleaning blade from being bent in a rotation direction of the object.
